Bridesmaid/groomsmen gifts

Wondering what you guys are giving/gave your bridesmaids and/or groomsmen as gifts. I am giving my bridesmaids a starfish necklace in a silver jewelry box. My fiancee can't seem to decide what to give as a groomsmen gift, especially since one of them is very different from the others. He doesn't drink, smoke, etc.

I did beach bags with towels & flip flops & luggage tags for the girls, & I might go get some bath & body works stuff to go in with it. For the flower girl & ring bearer I got them beach bags & filled them with fun little activities for them that I found in the dollar bin at michaels! I filled them up for 30$!! Pretty sure they will love them! As for the guys, Im stumped!! I have no clue what to give them....your guess is as good as mine!

I have no idea about groomsmen but for my moh I'm probably gonna get her a necklace for the wedding. Or I'm gonna give her an excursion for her and her husband. Or a nice obc. But idk for sure yet. Seems too informal....

Yeah alot of the groomsmen gifts are drinking and smoking related...lol I didn't really notice that until you said that...I think we are going to give them personalized leather shave bags with their initals on it. I figure what man doesn't like a shave bag? All of his guys are sailing as well so they can use them on the trip!

What about two tickets to a game of their favorite sports for the guys? I doesn't have to be front row seats or anything, but just a chance to go to the game. My son (he'll be 21 at the time of the wedding) is the only one in our wedding party and he loves the Yankees so I couldn't think of a better gift. Plus he gets to take a friend. He also doesn't drink or smoke either and really wouldn't know what else to get him that's really love. Of course if you have a big group you don't have to get them two tickets cause they can all just go as a group!

Personalized beach chair, coolers weekend bags are also good choices that don't involve smoking and drinking....

I paid for half of my girls dresses (their dresses were 200 dollars), I'm paying for their hotel rooms in Miami, I got each of them a BCBG clutch from the outlet store for 50 dollars each, a gift card to their favorite store (adding 50 dollars to each gift card for my maid of honor and matron of honor) and some lipgloss and bath and body works lotion. My girls have so much jewelry, and since I don't care what they wear as far as jewelry, I didn't want to do that. Since we aren't having a rehearsal dinner or anything like that, I am having them all over one night, giving them their gifts, bringing wine and cupcakes from a bakery here and having them help me fill the welcome bags :). My fiance is purchasing the guys suits (buy 1 get 2 free at Jo.A.Banks) and will probably get each of them an excursion or casino money for the boat. As for our flower girl, we bought her dress (http://www.littlemissprincess.com) for 60 dollars, she'll have a flower girl shirt, some fun lipgloss and a bracelet to wear for the wedding and a personalized beach tote. I know we are doing a lot, but he only has 2, I have 4 maids, but they are putting so much into coming that we wanted to do something really nice. Paying for half of their dresses was a great surprise for them. They had no idea!

I'd have a huge wedding and pay for everyone to cruise! lol

I got the best man an engraved flask... lol

We got the groomsmen engraved Yukon knives and we're paying for their tux rentals. The Best Man is also getting an NFL framed photo.

We are paying for the bridesmaids hair and makeup and also getting them matching clutches and hair flowers. The Matron of Honor is also getting a ruby bracelet. I'm also going to collect some travel stuff for the bridesmaids to put in a tote- makeup remover, Shout wipes, sunscreen, Bandaids, Tylenol, flip flops, etc.

do you guys think the MOH should get a better/different/more of a gift?

both of my sisters are standing with me so they will be getting all the same... dont want any fights :p :D

I also have ALL of my sisters as my MOH (3 of them) b/c of the fighting that would have happened if I picked one as a fave...lol. So for them I bought handmade (gorgeous!) clutches on Etsy. Each one is different and matches the style of their dress (they each picked a different dress to wear). I also bought matching pearl/earrings for each of them to put in their clutches b/c they want to wear pearls for the wedding. I did this for my Fiance's sister also as she will be walking down the aisle w/ my brother and our 2 nephews.

For my 2 best friends who WOULD have been my MOH's if I had a choice in the matter, I also bought clutches and helped pay for their cruises.

As for the Groomsmen/Best Men ~ we bought them ties to wear for the wedding a matching boat shoes (Sperrys - super comfy!). My fiance will also buy them drink tickets for onboard (to be found in their welcome baskets that we made everyone).

I wish I could have done more but our budget was a huge constraint!

lol! I love the boat shoe gifts! Thats appropriate :). I would soo love to do that but pretty sure only 2 of the 4 would actually wear/like them. My fiance would never wear them either, he just likes all black tennis shoes. (hes picky :) )

So maybe your fiance can figure out what he'd like his guys to wear, and then buy them parts of their outfits (and some drink tickets on the ship!) as gifts.

Yep thats a good idea! Only one of them is of age that is sailing...maybe a photo coupon for the other??? Then gift cards for academy for the non-sailing 2.??? lol guys are so hard to buy for. Fiance is not helping either lol. Hes says he doesn't care get them whatever. Heres some $$$. Lovely.
