Miracle cruise overboard

Just got off the Carnival Miracle (Feb 15-22). I believe it was the second night at dinner we herd the announcement "Bravo Port".

A little later it was announced that the overboard alarm went off and they were turning around to try and find the person who fell. Then a little later they said the person was recovered on board and she was in the infirmary.

Spoke with some other passengers the next day and they stated that the person was pushed off the balcony and the people responsible were turned over to the authorities in Cabo.

Anyone know anything?

I was on that cruise. All I know is that the person fell from the 6th to the 4th floor. We knew there was trouble when we heard the Bravo, Bravo, Portside announcement

I betcha booze was involved. Now someone will sue Carnival, what a joke.

I hope the person is ok. This must have been scary to hear.

No, she fell inside the ship, fortunately, but still was badly hurt. The ship turned around immediately and by the time they got back to the spot where she went overboard, they had found her. We even made it on time to Cabo the next morning with the delay.

On the Miracle the lifeboats on deck 4 jut out considerably from the side of the ship. She most likely landed on one of them.
