St. T

Looking for some help w/St. T, Secret Sands Beach, this is on RCL & wondering if anyone has been there & any comments, as it appears in RCL excursion list? Thanks for any input here! :)

According to the description this is Smith Bay Park (LIndqvist Beach) on the east end of STT, a very nice beach that has very limited amenities. They must bring lounges as part of the excursion unless they've made arrangements with the park.

This would be one of the quietest beaches on STT when ships are in port and I would recommend it for a 2.5 hr beach experience. If you're looking for a more lively/busy beach Coki Beach is a very short drive away and has several vendors and a livelier vibe.

What date is the excursion offered? I know someone on the board for the park, and he said they have an estimated opening date, and they will be renting chairs when the park upgrade is completed. He said they have already been flooded with requests for tours.

"Secret Sands", huh? Always changing perfectly good names for marketing purposes. ;)

Thanks so much for your info. Looking forward to visiting here as I have been to St. T many times & this would be a "different beach".

Does anyone know when all the building will be completed? Hoping by March 2015???? :)

Who knows when any construction anywhere will be completed? :-) They hope to be finished by end of November.
