Parking in Bayonne, NJ

How is the parking in Bayonne, NJ??
Is there enough parking spots?

The parking in Bayonne is very good - plenty of spaces. There is also a shuttle to bring you from the parking lot to where you check-in. It did get a little crazy when we were trying to pull out and the next cruises passengers were pulling in - but nothing worse than a 10 minute traffic jam - certainly better than flying [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Originally it was supposed to be cash only, but they are set up for credit too. You pay upfront.

Please note that parking cost is literally "per day", inclusive of your arrival and departure days. For an 8 nite cruise, you pay for 9 days parking.

Cathy, thanks for the heads up on what they consider "per day". At the pier in New York they charge per the number of "nights" of the cruise....if it's a 2-night cruise to nowhere, you pay for 2 days of parking. That seems more reasonable....but they also charge over $25 per day, so I'd still rather pay an extra day at $12 per day! [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img]

I do not believe that is true. We only paid $60 for our 5-night, 6-day cruise. They do not count the day you disembark.

All I can say is we paid 9x$12 for an 8 night cruise! Maybe that has since changed.

Parkimg was a easy. We paid as poated $108.00 for the 9 day cruise. We were able to park were we could carry our own bags to the terminal.

The trick here is NOT to arrive too early. Give the people coming off enough time to get off and leave the parking lot. We arrived about 12:00 noon and it worked out great.
