Five of us will be on this cruise with the extensions in Budapest and Prague. We are unable to see the optional excursions until we have paid in full, which will not be for many moths. Could anyone who has done this cruise provide the info for the optional excursions????

We are going on the AMASerena on July 17th and the limited edition tours are:

WEISSENKIRCHEN Apricots & Sweets

Venue: Local vineyard or Weiser Shop

Duration: 2 1/2 hrs

Overview:

Visit a local vineyard where we will be treated to a tasting of the regions finest apricot products. Jams, Apricot Liqueur, Apricot Brandy and chocolate are on the menu. Learn about the history and processing of this sweet fruit in the Wachau Valley.

Taste Apricot Brandy and Liqueur

Specialty chocolates

Surrounded by vineyards (weather permitting), we will learn about the regions love of apricot

VIENNA Hidden Vienna Walking Tour

Duration: 3 ½ hrs

Overview:

See the "hidden treasures" of Vienna on a walk that takes you through the back alleys and secret spaces known only to the most adventurous of Viennese locals. From ages-old treasures to the whimsical Art Nouveau clock that is Anker Uhr, you never know what you might encounter.

BRATISLAVA Slovakian Specialties Tasting

Venue: Sheraton on the Danube Shore

Duration: 2 1/4 hrs

Overview:

Enjoy the opportunity to savor some local Slovakian specialties. We will enjoy a welcome glass of sparkling wine, sample a creamy soup made from sheep's cheese and learn how to prepare stuffed potato ravioli's.

Tasting of creamy Sheep cheese soup with paprika

Preparation of potato ravioli stuffed with plum jam served with poppy seed and melted butter

Receive an apron as a memento of the lesson.
