Does the direct luggage service when disembarking work for flights out of Miami (when disembarking at Fort Everglades)?

Does the direct luggage service when disembarking work for flights out of Miami (when disembarking at Fort Everglades)?

IIRC some our travel companions did use the Luggage Direct service a couple of years ago when they returned to FLL from a Caribbean cruise and flew home out of Miami. As stated on Page 19 of HAL's Know Before You Go booklet, "For more information, or to sign up go to maketraveleasier.com/Holland or call 1-877-847-0045 to speak to one of our customer service representatives."
