Wow! Thanks again. You are really getting me excited for my upcoming cruise with all this info. I am supposed to be studying for my neurology final (tomorrow AM!) but instead I am here planning my days at sea...

Did you attend any of the wine tastings or the pub crawl? Could you comment on these if you did? (Never seen a pub crawl on a ship... not sure how that works.)

Any activities you particularly enjoyed or particularly... umm... didn't?

We have given up the various wine tastings -- we have found that the one ounce you get of 4 wines is really not worth it. There were times when DH would get an ounce and I would get only a few drops of wine to taste. Then we watched as some people would get about 3 ounces. It diffently did not encourage us to buy any wine for dinner. There was a time you attended these events that they would give you 10% off any bottles you bought -- haven't seen that in a long time.

As for events -- we love trivia -- but on our recent cruises, the teams form and they expect you be at each game -- that doesn't always fit into our schedule -- there are times when they had trivia when we were off the ship!! -- and then a couple were at 5 and we had traditional dining at 5:45 -- no time to get ready for dinner let alone have a cocktail before dinner which we love to do.

We have a ton a free gifts that we earned through Dam Dollars -- so we no longer participate in all the games. We will do the atrium gold putting and pool golf chipping and if we get some Dam Dollars we watch and make friends with people are really are trying to get enough Dam Dollars for some of the better prizes. This is the first time that the amount of Dollars needed to earn a sweat shirt, etc., was not posted in the Daily Program -- so I can't answer as this question.

The number of activities on cruises compared to a few months ago have declined -- or -- many of the ones people like are all at the same time!!

I am excited to see that there is access to the NFL Thanksgiving Games on the Eurodam. I called customer service and they told me only if the game were on ESPN which would be Monday Night Football only, I believe that is now on ESPN. Do you think it is possible to get the NFL game on the Sunday before which would be the DAllas vsWashington Game on the 22nd of November, 2009 cruise. I would love to know what your experience was on the Eurodam. Thanks!
