Best way to purchase day pass at Crane Beach Resort?

We haven't been yet, but did email Karen.oliver@thecrane.com (alternate email appears to be info@thecrane.com) and she said the cost is $13 US for day pass, which is redeemable for drinks at their bar. For that a chair, towel, pool, pink sand, suspended bar over the beach.

I just got a e-mail back from Karen and for $13.00US pp you get to use the beach and the resturant, for $60.00 US pp you reserve a Day Use room that lets you use the pool,

yes you get the use of a room,it will take 15-30 minutes by cab depending on traffic and the cost will be around $30-$35 dollars you can also ask the cab driver to pick you up at a certain time to take you back to the ship and maybe get a deal,

I hope this helps that is all the info I got

* for $13 US per person you get to use the beach and the restaurant..

* for $60 US per person you reserve a Day Use room that lets you use the pool

Let's be clear about this, okay?

You're not getting a room for the $13-per-person regular Day Pass.

  • 2 weeks later...

When we went in April, we bought the day pass and you did not get to use the pool, chairs etc. To do that you have to get a day room. Arrange it in advance, when we went, the person at the front desk told us it would be $200 US for a day room. Someone later told us that it was not that cost, but they never emailed us as they said they would.

The cheaper day pass just gets you access through the resort.

Has anyone ever stayed at the resort for a longer period of time?

I just looked it up and it looks beautiful.

Oh it's verrry nice, but it's also on the pricey side.

If you can afford it, you won't forget your 4 days..(a week?) at the Crane, that would be hard to do

Apologies for the lo-contrast shot taken after sunset...

this is a balcony shot on the 5th. floor -one of the Penthouse Suites..

..a mere US$500 a day at the discount rate, but I'm sure you can get a room for a lot less than that!

Yowsa! You weren't lyin. I just picked some dates to see what the price would be and 643.00/night  I can see why though, its gorgeous. A girl can dream right? I guess I'll have to stick to the $13.00 fee and soak up as much as I can on the beautiful beach :)
