  1. Welcome to Cruise Critic. Seems your options are to (1) research each country's visa requirements by visiting their embassy websites and then making the appropriate applications, or (2) to retain a visa service business. If I needed visas for multiple countries, I would seriously consider option (2). I have never used a visa service so can't speak to the cost or offer any recommendations.
  2. Mrs Ldubs was in a jury selection. The judge asked if anyone had travel plans. Those that said yes were asked to show proof to the bailiff. Mrs Ldubs had the booking info on her iPhone. She received what I guess was a postponement. She was called up again 3 months later.
  3. Out of pure curiosity, and to slightly switch gears, do the cruise ships contain multiple sacrificial anodes? I wonder how often they need to be replaced.
  4. Seems like not reporting a $10K win might open up a bigger can of worms. Is it even possible to not report a $10K win? From what I read on these forums, big winners are on the hook because the casino reports big wins to the IRS.
  5. You take one day cruises? 😄 (just kidding. I know what you meant).
  6. Yes, I agree that could be the confusion. It would be similar, or the same, as confusing who is in potential jury pools vs those who might be excused once summoned.
  7. Hahaha. I think I might accept medical advice on a forum before I accepted IRS tax prep advice.
  8. Thanks. Apparently different rules for State vs Federal courts may apply.
  9. I can see the confusion if I were new to Princess or not having been for many years. Otherwise, I would simply shrug it off as the obvious wrong info it is. I'm assuming you asked to confirm reservations and fees apply in the MDR as part of the discussion. That is a head shaker for sure. I'm glad you took the time to raise the issue to someone higher up the chain. Seems call centers across the board are having issues.
  10. I had heard the same thing about my state and in fact, I have not received any jury summons since I hit 70. When I looked for it, I could find nothing that automatically exempted 70+ year olds. There is no age related stop that I could find. I did read that courts will waive the need for a physician's statement for exemptions based on medical issues. That might vary by court, IDK.
  11. It happens. I recall a meeting where a guy was wearing a sweatshirt for the same reason. Fortunately it was an internal meeting. BTW, "coordinating" sounds like an outfit. I'm not sure I have anything that would be considered "coordinating" or an "outfit" when it comes to clothes. 😄
  12. The title is asking about Hertz (cycles per second) and the OP's comments talk about voltage too. Our American standard is 60 Hz. Running on 50 Hz could be a potential problem where motors are involved. Using 50 Hz is not going to be an issue for charging phones, laptops, or electric toothbrushes.
  13. I wouldn't balk at September if that is how my schedule worked. No need to panic. It is not going to be frozen tundra. I would bring a coat (just like I do at home when it is cold).
