Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We sail in 5 days on the Breakaway in an aft angled balcony. It’s our 3rd B2B cruise in an angled balcony. I just double checked that we have the same cabin we booked. No changes. Sorry they changed yours, but I would push for an upgrade
  2. We’ve boarded ships out of NOLA for our last 16 or so cruises. We get there early, go through security and directly to latitudes check in. Usually just a few in line ahead of us, and they have multiple reps checking people in. We check in, then find a seat and wait. When they start calling boarding for Haven and special assistance passengers, we get up and move closer to the boarding area as we are higher tier latitudes. We are usually on the ship by 11:15-11:30. Pretty simple really. We usually choose earliest boarding time 9-9:30.
  3. When we were on the Breakaway we had to request a coffee maker and our cabin steward brought one. He kept it stocked everyday with coffee, cream and sugar
  4. I had the same problem. I called and they booked it for me over the phone.
  5. I had some trouble back in March uploading a photo. They can take one when you do your check-in at the port. I just saved the crappy one and they retook it when we checked in
  6. We went on a back to back in March on the Breakaway. We had to go to the Bliss Lounge on the 2nd to last day before returning to New Orleans for our covid test. It took about 15 minutes and then received our negative test results, our wristband and new sail cards.
  7. The last time we were in vibe was 2020. You could use your beverage package and they gave us fruit skewers and fruit infused pitchers of water
  8. Note: when you receive your new sail card for the second leg of B2B, make sure you can open your cabin door and also use it at the bar. We’ve had issues in the past where they didn’t work, and had to make trips to guest services . They gave us new cards
  9. We did a 7 day B2B in March from New Orleans to Western Caribbean. On last sea day of first leg, before arriving in New Orleans, we went to Bliss Lounge , had a quick covid test (negative) and were given a wristband to wear at debarkation. We were also given a new room card (same cabin). At debarkation, we were walked off the ship, and had to re-enter, go through security and then went back on ship. There was no charge for covid testing between cruises. Can’t answer about latitude level as we were sapphire prior to boarding and remained the same
