    Bedding

I was looking at the FAQs yesterday and noticed quite a major change. They say they change bedding once a week, more if requested. When I last looked, probably last year, it was every three days. There was a time, I think, when they changed the sheets every day, and twice if you had had an afternoon nap, but that was a while ago. In any case, three days to a week is quite a difference. Does anybody mind? It obviously has considerable environmental benefits in water saving and detergent saving. It should save the stewards some time most days. But I wonder if any of the laundrymen have been sacked, as they will have less to do. Finally, has anyone who has been on board actually noticed this change? It is interesting that the answer has been updated, as most of the FAQs seem unaware of the existence of QA, which I should have thought was a more major change.
  2. All restaurants are open for passengers in transit, but only the Grills are open for embarking passengers.
  3. It certainly goes towards explaining why US healthcare is so expensive. 😀
  4. I’m not sure I see the distinction you are making. On normal embarkation days only the Grills passengers get lunch. With your experience, I’m sure you also remember the days of QE2 when in transit QGs were sent off to the Princess Grill for lunch.
  5. Does your friend have any views on the QG restaurant?
  6. On the other hand, a slightly anonymous man with a gorgeous wife might offer you a fortune for them. 😀
  7. I was going to ask if you had been to Rick’s. If you have those letters, tread carefully and keep an eye out for potential assassins. I suppose you might say the original Rick’s Café was a little touristy too. 😀😀
  8. I’m shocked, shocked I say, but I think it might be Casablanca.
  9. Yes, sorry, of course s/he was. And indeed it is, and very useful too.
  10. I hope it hasn’t been abandoned in line with the alleged modernity of the new ship. After all, modern people don’t write letters, do they? They text.
  11. Lunch starts at 1, but I doubt it will be available in BC. The pub is very well spoken of.
  12. A one off for the maiden voyage I should imagine.
  13. No fruit skewers, no ice cream, no tea? Dear me.
