Hi there - wondering if anyone else is having problems with the website when trying to complete a purchase of a shore excursion? I'm trying to call and figure out why I'm getting the error message and even just purchase through an agent but the wait is taking forever.

Planning on taking 2 shore excursions through Windstar to try to use up our OBC. But am afraid they are going to sell out before we board (I am a total planner! 😁). They are for our Tahiti sailing in October - 1 for my husband and I on Huahine and 1 just for me on Taha'a (the coral drift). Anyone have experience/knowledge about how likely they are to sell out before we board? Thanks!

Yes, so I have to use it once onboard for the cruise. I have 3 excursions I'm hoping to take through Windstar and am worried about them selling out before we get on board. Guess I'm going to have to risk it as I don't know what else we would spend the OBC on! Thanks. Oh - and I do have some OBC for a different upcoming cruise that I can use pre-boarding to book stuff so it's not always consistent.

I saw that it was closed and thought I saw somewhere that we might be lucky and it will be open by the time we are there. Fingers crossed! Plan is to check out Matira Beach and Bloody Mary's.

Hi all - I almost always book my shore excursions using 3rd party companies vs. ship's excursions. But we are going to have some OBC for our FP cruise that I was thinking of using for shore excursions as I don't know what else we would use it for (got the free AI deal). Problem is that they don't load the OBC until we board - I'm afraid excursions may sell out by then. Any advice? Thanks!

Hi all - on our first trip to FP via Windstar in October. I love to snorkel and am a good swimmer, but my husband is not a good swimmer and not a confident snorkeler. I've heard that the drift snorkel is a must do in Taha'a but I don't think it would be good for my husband. Or would it? I've read so many accounts of people getting scraped on coral - that would insure he would never snorkel again! Thanks for any help!

This will be our first time on Windstar and our first time in FP. Our cruise does an overnight in Bora Bora and I'm debating on taking 1 of the 2 days there to just kind of do what we want (I have a snorkeling excursion planned for the 2nd day). We love cool bars and I was looking for one to maybe hit but am not sure as most seem associated with a hotel. From the Star Breeze will we have a great view of the sunset, etc. if we just stay on board? Or is it fun to try to hit a cool waterfront bar on Bora Bora? Are there water taxis available? Thank you!

Disappointed that it looks like Moorea Ocean Adventures now only does private boat snorkeling tours and is out of my price range for 2 people!

Hi all - going on our first Windstar cruise in October 2024 and very excited. Will be on the Star Breeze on the 7-day Tahiti cruise. Deep in research mode currently and saw the mini bar beer list. Does anyone know if there are other beer options available anywhere on the ship? We love IPAs and pale ales. TIA!

When we were there in June 2023 they were taking them down and we just missed them. I don't know if they've been put back up.

First time doing a GTY and am nervous. First time doing anything other than a balcony also - got an Oceanview GTY for myself and my friend. Just hope it's not in the bowels of the ship. Or right near kids' club. 😄

brianz09 - did they do any snorkeling on the Jost day? Was there an opportunity to go paddle boarding? This is the only shared sail the day we are in Tortola and I really want to do some snorkeling. Thanks!

We got to Cabo at least once a year, and we always enjoy the sunset cruise on the Rissalena. I don't know if they do specific whale watching tours, but the food is excellent, not a huge party atmosphere, and not too many people. You can also charter the catamaran for just your party if you choose.
