I heard that there’s a place called “Alaskan Fudge Co.” in Juneau, it’s on my list of places to visit when we’re on our cruise in June.

We cruised to Alaska with Celebrity in 2014. Had a great time, both in port AND on the ship. I would disagree with some who say it’s “all about the ports.” The ship and the vibe, the food quality, the room quality, all of it are important to us as well as the ports. We liked that cruise so much that we’re going again this June, same room, different S-class ship, almost same itinerary. We’re in our 40’s now.

I have 1610 booked on the Eclipse in June, specifically for the slant as it makes the balcony so much more spacious. It’s an Aqua Class cabin, but there might be similar ones “on the hump” on other decks.

Our first cruise was perfect. Celebrity Solstice Alaska May 2014. Our second cruise is coming up in June 2023, Celebrity Eclipse, same exact room, almost same itinerary (with one port change that I’m actually looking forward to). Can’t wait!!

Oh, wow — ok. Good point re: kitchen placement. We’ll be on the Eclipse, S-Class.

Is it true that while dining in Blu, you can request to order from the MDR menu if there’s not anything you like? Would this offend the servers?
