If your flight is earlier than the guidelines they set they probably won't let you use a Princess transfer.
-
Princess only operates the Bon Voyage Experience at US ports, I believe.
-
You can only get transfers from the hotel if you book the hotel through Princess.
-
As long as it's all booked together under one booking number, yes.
-
The irony, of course, is that since the outer deck space is limited with the removal of most of the promenade deck from use, these ships aren't suited to colder "scenic cruising" itineraries like Alaska, where there would be fewer people interested in using the pool.

Coffee (from syrup), iced tea and lemonade, and I think orange juice in the morning.

They have been doing this for a while.
However, the charge is not made until a couple of days before the land tour starts no matter how long before the tour you made the reservations.
In the trial of charging in advance for shore excursions during certain Alaska voyages next year, if you do not pay at the time you reserve them, then they are not reserved.
That is a big difference.
No, it's changed. They used to charge land excursions a couple days before. Last year they charged 21 days before. Now it's 365 days before, or essentially when you reserve the land excursions. That's for all Alaska land tours, not just one ship like the pre-pay shore excursions pilot for Grand in 2016.
From talking to someone in reservations, my understanding is that they've had issues with collecting balances due if there's a problem with the credit card charge, since they can't just add it to your shipboard folio (the two systems don't talk to each other, apparently) and they didn't want to cancel people's tours at the last minute.
-
Apparently Princess is now requiring prepayment for all Alaska land excursions (taken during the land portion of a cruise tour, not the shore excursions during the cruise part).
-
Whichever voyage number doesn't have a letter at the end (A, B, etc) is the physical voyage, so the events will likely be centered around that one. They will have separate muster drills for the additional people embarking on the logical segments.

You do not get OBC just for booking another cruise while on a cruise.
However, as others have mentioned, IF you purchase a FCC before making the booking, you will get OBC, the amount determined by the length of the cruise and the type of cabin you book.
If you book a cruise while you're on a cruise, you get the same benefits as those using an FCD.

Yes, pre-cruise emails from marketing about shore excursions, entertainment, etc. Not operational emails like itinerary changes, visa notifications, or progressive boarding schedules. Those only go to the TA, unless it's a last minute change (like a boarding delay), in which case Princess may reach out straight to guests even if they have a travel agent.
-
If you booked through a TA, all non-marketing communication (such as an itinerary change) will go to the TA. You should to see them on your Cruise Personalizer in the Important Notices on the itinerary page.
-
Well that's probably why they sent out the notification not to arrive before 2:00 PM.

It's not like buying a TV at Best Buy, where they'll give you money back if there's a sale within two weeks. It's more like buying an airplane ticket, where the price can change at any time.
Sometimes they will let you refare to a lower rate, but the closer you get to sailing, the more likely the sales will be for new bookings only.
-
If you have to cancel and rebook, you'll lose whatever promotion was offered at the time you originally booked.
-
I'm not sure on the answer to your first question, but you definitely can't have a new FCD applied to a cruise that's already booked.
I don't see why they wouldn't let you take the FCD off the first one, as long as you met the normal deposit requirement.

Most likely Caribbean Princess heading into Bayonne for her Sunday turnaround. Someone posted they missed their last port due to weather (Bar Harbor, I think?), so probably came in earlier than expected.
-
It's a suggestion. You can show up whenever you want.

I doubt it was a "mistake" in the Cruise Answer Book. There had been no verbiage regarding water or soda in any Princess printed or online information. That had to be specifically composed and added. If it was a "mistake" I bet it was intentionally made to test the waters.
I'm sure your right, but that seems to be the "corporate" answer.

I just talked to someone at Princess who said the policy hasn't changed after all, and whoever confirmed it was official on January 1 basically made that up because it hasn't been stated anywhere. She said they're in the process of fixing the mistake in the Cruise Answer book.

They can't "refund" money to a credit card that was never charged for onboard expenses. If you have refundable OBC left over and don't cash out onboard, you'll get a check, but it'll take a while.
-
The policy has always been that if the drink is over $10, you pay full price, not the difference. It's been like that since the Unlimited package started.
Everything under $10 is included in the Unlimited package, so that includes milkshakes. I believe shakes are also in the Soda and More package, except on ships that don't make them (Ocean, Pacific, Royal and Regal).

Azipods have given Carnival nothing but grief over the last few years.

If you have a balance on your onboard folio when you check out and don't cash it out, they'll mail you a check. It'll take a while.
Best way to bring wine onboard
in Princess Cruises

Aren't the instructions that wine must be carried on printed on your luggage tags?
