Yea you!

Brand new this last week to HAL but looking forward to my Alaskan cruise in August on the Oosterdam.  Happy holidays to all my new friends!

I am going on the Oosterdam as part of a group and I understand tomorrow they are going to book our cabin for us.  I can't get off work so I am trying to make a list of what they may need from me.  Any ideas besides name, address, birthday etc.

This is a great thread, just found out I am going on the Oosterdam in August to Alaska and it is my first HAL cruise and first Alaskan cruise and I love spending time daydreaming about it so this is perfect for me!!!

First hi everyone! I haven't been on here for a couple years and am so glad to be thinking about planning another cruise.

My favorite Carnival excursion was the Dolphin Encounter at the Blue Lagoon in Nassau on our first cruise. So much fun and good memories!

I had that problem for years and my mom bought me a couple pair of cotton boxers. That fixed it up and no one could see them under my slip and skirt. :p

Wow! These pictures are so cool!! We have seen all kinds of flying fish and a huge sea turtle. But no dolphins ever, maybe this next week??

We asked for early and were assigned late seating on our first cruise. 8:15 was just too late for us to eat, and then try to see the shows and then get up early for breakfast before the excursions. This next cruise I really hope we get an early seating.

That is what we were going to do, get some in our shoes and drop it in the bottom of our beach bag, but we never went to a beach!! :o

They didn't have any playing cards at the pursors desk on our Fantasy cruise. The only freebies were the items in the amenities basket in the bathroom. But I had a great time anyway. Oh yeah, there was tylenol and something else in the infirmary area.

I bought a small notebook to make into a journal on our cruise, and then forgot it laying on the coffee table!!! So I used stationary from the 2 hotels we stayed in and some from the ship to keep some notes on. But I will be buying a real journal before my next cruise and writing in it faithfully daily, though I like the post card idea too!

There was no one famous on our cruise but when I was in high school, our marching band played in the Mardi Gras parades and Andy Gibb was getting off the elevator as I was getting on. I almost fainted! Not really, but I had been a huge fan of his a couple years earlier!:o
