Actually, I dug a little deeper and found out that there is an evening whale watch in Juneau and the gold panning is at 1:30 so I can do both.  I am so looking forward to both now!!!  thank you for all the help.  We are going to Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka and Victoria.

I ordered this one from Vera Bradley for our upcoming Alaska cruise.  I really like the RFID part!  I got it during a sale so I did not spend quite that much...But the brand came highly recommended by several friends.

Our first cruise was the Carnival Fantasy - four nights - in February 2005.  I think the ships just keep getting bigger and grander!

A few years ago I was with a group on the broken Carnival Elation.  I had no idea where anyone in my group was and I was starving so I went to the buffet on the Lido Deck and it was surprisingly wonderful!  I enjoyed the food and the solitude as I sat at a small table watching the ocean go by.  One of my favorite memories from that cruise!

I have tried to search but come up blank...Going on the Oosterdam in August.  Do they have high tea at some point while on that cruise.  A member of our party wants to know.  Thank you all so much!  PS - I have no idea what high tea even means...!

Going on HAL Oosterdam in August and the only gold panning excursions I can find are at the exact same time the only whale watching excursions are and they are in Juneau.  Anyone know of a gold panning excursion I can take in Ketchikan or Sitka?  Any recommendations would be welcome.  No negative comments on the excursion itself as it is something I REALLY want to do!!! Thanks friends.

Oh one more. I think our room is right below the Lido Market...Is that the buffet?  I wonder if it will be noisy?  Not that it matters too much, 7 days on a cruise ship is still better then 7 days at work... Right????

Thanks guys!  My med can stay unrefrigerated for up to 14 days but I would rather be safe then sorry.

I have been looking at the deck plans, and I am not sure if I am just missing it but where is the infirmary?  i need to have them hold a medicine in their fridge and what floor is the spa on?

I didn't get to do it on my last cruise on Carnival because our ship broke, so I hope to be able to do it on the Oosterdam in August!!!!

But you can also spend cash in the slot machines right?  Just trying to get an idea of how much cash to take with me...

So I just found out as a surprise to me, the people I am going on my cruise with upgraded to a Signature Suite.  We have adjoining rooms, do our balconies open too so we can share our balconies?  We are on the Oosterdam in SY 8091 and 8093.  Thanks guys!
