Me too, I tend to get emotional when I sing, and it is my mom's favorite song so that will make it harder since now she has dementia.  It will be a hard morning!  Thanks guys!

I have this outfit - I am short so they are not short pants on me.  I bought it for my upcoming cruise in just under two weeks but...  I have the honor of singing at a friends funeral this Saturday and I am just wondering - I definitely need another opinion other than my own - would this be appropriate to wear?  It is really more of a grey rather than purple.  What do you all think?  Thank you!!

We were offered a club orange upgrade on our upcoming Oosterdam cruise.  $25 per person per day... We did not take it.

Copper I did not read through all of these on this thread, but I am getting closer to my 8/4 Oosterdam cruise where I may need the captain to stop at McDonalds for me if I can't find anything to eat...Did you find out yet who it is that I will have to schmooze to get a stop at Mickey D's?  You sure do keep me informed on here, thank you!!!

I have never used blister bandaids before but have some to take on this trip just in case and they will be added to my bag, I have two bags now sitting there filling up but am then again less then four weeks out, FINALLY!

I am now less then four weeks away from my first HAL - Alaska - Signature Suite cruise and I can't wait, I love reading all your comments!

That is good to know since I have already booked mine for my Oosterdam trip a month from tomorrow!!!!!  Yippeeeeeeee!  I can hardly wait.

Now I am really confused!  I will not be using any credit or debit card.  so I need to put 420 in cash or will they hold 420 from my OBC?  I am not purchasing the SBC because I won't drink more than one or two alcoholic beverages.  And no pop.  Sorry.  I am more confused than ever now! 

Sorry, I do not have any more credit cards and I don't want to have a hold put on my debit card so I am doing everything with OBC and cash.  I was thinking earlier today that all that OBC was great and then I remembered they may hold some of it back but they may not. I get myself so confused on here somedays...

I get that Tax Man, but if I only have say 700 in OBC I want to make sure I have that saved back and don't figure it into my amount of money I can spend.  Make sense?

I just tried to search and couldn't find the answer.  So please remind me again, what is the credit card hold per person per room.  I have onboard credit and want to make sure I have enough for the auto hold, the gratuities and then to pay for my excursions.  thanks guys!

I can't find anyone here in Kansas City that makes them and someone said I could maybe get one on the ship.  Any ideas??

Thank you Copper, not really that big of a fan of McDonalds but it sounded like a plan the other night when we were discussing what I won't eat on the ship!! 

So here's the deal. Going on my first HAL cruise August 4 on the Oosterdam.  I need to know the Captain's name because I am a picky eater and I have told the other people going with me that I may have to marry him just to get him to dock at McDonalds when I can't find anything to eat...(Hee hee hee hee tee hee hee.) So I guess I would like to know the name of the Captain on the Oosterdam please.  Just as a joke with the rest of my party but it is interesting to know anyway.  Thank you Copper for all your fabulous answers on here!  Lisa
