4) What is the HUB app and how do I maximize its benefits for our sailing? Does it cost to download?
The HUB app is free and super useful! Although you CAN use it to spend money buying excursions, etc so watch out for that and the chat function costs $5 per person per cruise but is totally worth it

A quick look at Circle C on the Carnival Panorama
-
Do you check out the secret decks on every ship? 🚢🛳
Even though I had a balcony I had to go find the hidden decks on the Panorama 😊
-
The Lido Pool on the Panorama is salt water - would you prefer freshwater?
-
Made a short video showing the lido buffet offerings at dinner one night

There was some pretty awesome dancing

Family Harbor Balcony Stateroom

The elevators on the Carnival Panorama are pretty funky
-
The Sail & Sign cards on the Panorama are prox cards! 😄

Boarding the Carnival Panorama takes you on a weird route once you're on the ship

WIFI
in Grand Turk
No WiFi at Margaritaville but there is at Starbucks

A cruise compliant power cube. Small and compact, inexpensive, smart

Whenever I've done late dining we always had our own table, didn't have to ask or anything

The spa can be a real mixed bag, quality and service vary a lot from ship to ship so I recommend against pre-booking anything plus the pre-booking system with the spa has some serious flaws (check my video below for a horror story). I recommend taking the spa tour on the first day and if you get a good vibe THEN book.

For dining I recommend you stick with YTD and when you check in at MDR they'll ask if you want to dine with other people, I highly recommend it - it provides a nice and comfortable social activity when cruising solo

I went on this itinerary on the Splendor in Feb 2018 and it was plenty warm enough for swimming in Mazatlan
-
For Mazatlan I always have a great time at the El Cid Marina
-
I often take that cruise in December, it's great
-
I enjoyed it quite a bit
-
It is possible to have an excursion on a Sea Day though...a small ship may come along side the cruise ship and people can go off on an excursion however it's often very expensive

Skytrain, 100%
Vancouver doesn't have Uber or Lyft and the wait for a cab can be intense -
As a solo traveler I have found SuperShuttle or Primetime to be substantially cheaper. Here are the numbers
