Although I have cruised a lot, my last cruise with Princess was 31 years ago, it is interesting to see how the cruise line has changed during this time (I still have the old menus etc.)...

Hi, I have a few questions regarding the Sky Princess both on board and after the cruise in Southampton. Who could help? In the deluxe balcony DW cabin, when there are three adults in the cabin, is the balcony accessible and can the minibar be opened? Is it true that there are only 2 production shows on a two week cruise on Princess? Can you go to the MDR with your own wine glass (wine bottle brought on board in Southampton)? Is there still a Chocolate Breakfast buffet on the morning of the second (or last) sea day on the two-week cruise? Does Princess charge for another lobster during lobster dinner, as some cruise lines do? The ship arrives in Southampton at 07am, I guess that you must leave your cabin by 8am and disembarkation will be at 07.30am - 09am? But what time is the breakfast at MDR and buffet that morning? I saw that on the turn-around day in Southampton there are a total of six cruise ships, or 50,000+ passengers, how to get a taxi; must be a bit challenging, we will fly out from Southampton´s airport?

I got my Captain´s Circle number 1992 after my Star Princess cruise but now Princess does not honor my cruise for my coming June cruise so I could get my gold status. I have sent several email to captaincircle (att)princesscruises(dot)com but no any reply. What I could do? Is there any other email address? Also "contact us" on my cruise reservation page do not work at all. I have all my proofs of that cruise.

As a Finnish my vote will go to Carnival and Bergen. You can look also Sky Princess from Southampton next June with Norway and Iceland 😀

Yes cruise prices have gone up. I personally got the June Norway & Iceland cruise for almost half the price by buying it in Germany and not, for example, the USA. It's interesting to see how the cruise line in question has changed, the last time I sailed with them was in 1992. When I read the old menus, the gala evening at that time had caviar, pheasant, beef Wellington and Maine lobster. I know that many of these are not on the lists, for cost savings, and the cruise lline in question was not even a luxury cruise line...

Hi, I have been thinking about Sky Princess' Norway and Iceland cruise in the summer. The last time I cruised on Princess was 1992 on Star Princess in the Black Sea. Does Princess still have cabin cleaning twice a day? Is the buffet coffee etc. free 24 hours a day? What drinks does it include (ice tea?)? Can I take one bottle of wine per person on board the ship? Is it possible to post a gala dinner menu and a list of cabin service breakfasts, etc.? What is the cheapest way to travel to Southampton from London?

In 2019, I did a 2-month cruise from Los Angles to Dubai, only changing ships in Singapore. During that time, I also organized several private tours, where we went to destinations that the ship's excursions do not go to. People really enjoy those special tours. I personally enjoy long cruises and exotic destinations. Now my eyes are on Greenland and Iceland. And if this trip comes, I will organize also some special tours again 😉
