Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I just picked up the documents after paying in July 2020 thanks to Job Keeper money my employer gave me and help from my aunt Yesterday after an agonising long wait since booking in 2019 for the cruise.what was supposed to have been New Zealand is now a Queensland cruise. It would be nice come 2024 if a Cruise ex Singapore was offered even one that took in Kuala Lumpur and Penang and Langkawi and for an interesting twist put in Kota Kinabalu or Kuching for any of us who want a change from mostly south pacific or domestic cruises.
  2. For us non drinkers it won't seem expensive. If they can offer us a domestic cruise for about not much more than say Bali or Malaysia similar durations why not but offer some variety.I often have thought what about an ex Brisbane one that does the usual spots also does Port Douglas.
  3. More should be offered. This year has me belatedly on a Queensland cruise Brisbane Airlie Beach Cairns sail past willis island back to Brisbane.I was originally booked to New Zealand but then all this pandemic nonsense happened which saw everything get mucked about.I do wish off topic a little a Cruise ex Adelaide that takes in Melbourne,Hobart,Sydney and the Gold Coast could be offered for the South Australian market even as a special handful a year.the SA people can leave ex Outer Harbor but fly home either ex Brisbane or Gold Coast.I can see it working for Adelaide people who want a cruise but don't want to pay silly money for those Murray River Princess cruises ex Mannum.
  4. PRETTY good.Mine was a U by Uniworld in Europe on a River cruise.service and the people made all the difference.I did miss having Karaoke and Nightclubs all the time but then when distances are overnight plus short between ports and things like the first half of the cruise and the last half do not consist of 3 days to first destination on the way there and the same home it makes a difference. No complaints on the food.we had 105 people on mine which was a Christmas cruise.I still have that castle I bought from Vienna at home to this day.
  5. I am rather confused about it all.is it 48 hours before you leave your home state for the cruise.like if ones on say a 6am or a 10am flight to connect on day of travel is it done 48 hours early via home tests or should it time wise be done based on what time the ship sails ex Sydney or Brisbane. My phone cannot print off a date in the corner and I don't have a polaroid for printing anything pic wise.
  6. not at all.the whole USD thing for those of us who have only done P&O/Carnival in the past takes a while to get used to but other than that no issues.I notice they are relaxed with dress codes for the most part.I have for instance on smart casual nights turned up in active wear and nobody thought much of it.
  7. I would be happy with say 50 to 60% capacity on any cruise, been holding out for anything decent since my 2020 ones were canned and what I had for 2021 was pushed back.I had to replace New Caledonia cruise with a week in Cairns for Christmas last year after initially the destination was changed and subsequently the cruise was cancelled.
  8. No don't chance it.use an evening one if you must and if the company offers a sightseeing tour of sydney plus transfer to the airport take advantage of it.
