  1. B2B passengers received a letter last night telling them to report to the Princess Theatre at 10:30 am for on-board immigration inspection. Also told to bring something to entertain you for approximately 2 hours. All aboard time has changed to 5 pm. Passengers getting off should be able to re board at approximately 12:30 pm. This has still been a great cruise. Looking forward to the next 5 days on board.

  2. We are doing a B2B on the 2/26 after this cruise. All seems normal so far. We are in Costa Maya today and. have not heard of any delays for 2/26. Will let you know if I hear anything. Late last night both sides of Horizon Court Buffet were closed for cleaning. Cafe Caribe was open with staff serving everything. Otherwise, all normal.

  3. Yes, on board the Caribbean Princess. No mention of a "Code Red" . Saw crew members scrubbing all over the ship. Still has been a great cruise. Just docked in Costa Maya. Beautiful weather. By the way, we did the Lobster Balcony Dinner the other night. If was fantastic. Highly recommend it. Well worth the $100.

  4. We did a cabin switch on our B2B last September. Crew was extremely helpful. Our cabin steward in the first cabin told the steward in the second cabin we were coming and also arranged for help with the move. He told us to stay in out cabin until the 2nd cabin was ready. We told him we would stay out on the balcony so we would be out of his way if he wanted to start cleaning. At about 9 am 2 guys arrived at our cabin with a cart and loaded up all out belongins. The 2nd cabin was also ready at this time. We moved to the new cabin and were settled in by 9:30 am. It could not have been any easier.

  5. Leaving next Friday on a B2B cruise on CB. We will be staying in the same cabin. We normally tip the cabin steward and dining room staff a little extra at the end of the cruise. If you have done B2B cruises and leave an extra tip, do you leave the tip at the end of each cruise or at the end of the 2nd cruise?

  6. GingerCandy, we are doing a B2B on Feb. 21 sailing out of FFL. The excursions on the turn around day didn't excite me so we were planning on staying on the ship and handling the day as a "sea day". I know we have to get off to go through immigrations but other than that, we planned a relaxing day on board. Anything wrong with this plan?

  7. Thanks beg3yrs for the quick reply. We are doing a 5 day followed by a 4 day. I guess it would be safer to tip at the end of each cruise. While I can ask the cabin steward if he will be assigned to our cabin for the next cruise, I guess we will not know if we have the same dining table and staff until we get the new cruise card for the 2nd cruise.

  8. While I know it is not required, we usually tip the cabin steward and dining room staff at the end of our cruise. We will be taking a B2B cruise in February and was wondering what other people on B2B cruises have done concerning the tipping. Do you tip at the end of the 2nd cruise or do you tip after each cruise? Thanks for your input on this subject.

  9. We will be in Costa Maya on February 24, 2015 and was thinking about going to Almaplena Resort and Beach Club but I have a few questions for anyone who has been there in February. #1 - What is the air and water temperature in February? #2 - What do they provide for the $64 per person charge and is it worth the trip? #3 - What time do they pick you up at the cruise pier and what time do they bring you back? Thanks in advance for any information you can provide me on this subject.

  10. On a recent cruise, I put $500 on casino credit prior to departing on the cruise. I had 5 $100 vouchers in my cabin upon arrival on the ship. Took a voucher to the casino cashier when I needed the cash. Cashier was aware of my vouchers as she told me how many I had left to cash each time I cashed a voucher. Very simple and easy, didn't have to carry a large amount of cash while traveling. Will do this on all my future cruises.

  11. We were at Princess Cays 10 days ago. We went to the beach area to the right after getting off the tender, much smaller and less crowded than the larger area to the left. Water and beach were great. Very few rocks getting into the water. Saw many fish around the rock island that serves as the lifeguard stand. Had a fantastic day, weather, waster and beach were all fantastic! Have fun!

  12. Reader, my wife and I got 150 minute each for the 5 day cruise and another 300 minutes for the 4 day cruise. Any unused minutes from the first curise were carried over to the second cruise and used before the next 150 minutes on the second cruise kicked in.

  13. Just got off of a 5 day & 4 day B2B. Used my iPad in my cabin without any problems. Had to leave the sliding door open to use it on the balcony. If you and your spouse are both Elite, you both get the free minutes. We had a total of 300 minutes to use on both the 5 day and 4 day cruises. It was great. You'll need the minutes as the speed is very slow.

  14. I am booked on a 5 day and 4 day B2B on Caribbean Princess. We will have to change cabins after the 5 day cruise. Will I have to pack all my clothes and take my luggage with me off ths ship while waiting to re board with the other B2B passengers?
