Couldn’t get into the website, so I tried the app. Got in, but our express pass for our upcoming sailing is gone. Hopefully it’s just a glitch, as we sail next week
That's why we always print the express pass as soon as it is available. Much easier for me than fumbling with my phone, especially since my husband does not have a smart phone.

Even though Celebrity says the evening chic night only applies to the MDR it has been our experience that a majority of cruisers adhere to it in the specialty restaurants, Blu and Luminae. We also see a lot of guests staying dressed in the evening, especially with later dining. Personally, we just can't be bothered to change after dinner.
Unless you are cruising during certain times; spring break, holiday cruises, summer, there will be a lot fewer kids on Celebrity than Carnival. Longer cruises also have fewer kids.

It’s a sincere query. Did he have a bad experience? What happened that he has decided not to sail on Celebruty again?
No idea why it was re-opened but how many posters respond with "use the search function". Then, when someone does, a zombie thread is reopened and people question why.

I don't know why they insist on calling it a wellness check. It is the time you're scheduled to check in at the port. Has nothing to do with your health. You can answer the 3 or 4 questions 24hours before the cruise or when you show up at the port.
Just be there before the latest time to check in.

We just finished our 3rd cruise on Celebrity summit royal suite 6140 and shower was never hot, we complained each year and nothing was done , talked to others in royal suite and they didn’t have a issue.
This happened to us in a RS and our cabin attendant fixed it. Otherwise, they would have called a plumber while we were out of the cabin. Unusual that there was no fix for you, cold showers are no fun.

It's nice when it works.
Celebrity is playing way too many games with pricing whether cruise prices, beverage package, dining etc. We have one more cruise booked in an upper level suite where we know what we are getting (so far). After that, not sure that we will be anxious to book again.

We were on either Equinox or Reflection in a RS and the couches were not replaced.

I looked at various ships upcoming sailings and saw room service fees ranging from $0 to $12 + 20% gratuity. Don't trust the app. The $12+ was for a sailing from Ft. Lauderdale.

Our 1st cruise was 27 years ago on Zenith from NY City to Bermuda.

As for bringing guests into the Retreat that is allowed.
You can bring a guest to Luminae for a meal but that needs to be pre arranged with the MaitreD and there is a charge for guests meals.
Did you mean to say that is Not allowed.

I love getting 15% off of the MDR’s. Just did the new simple math🥰 Yes, I know Celebrity is practicing, but it looks good. Anyway, nowadays getting anything off is a huge deal even when it really isn’t! 🤑
My 15% off is definitely better than 7% off. The only thing better will be if they tell me Dinner on the Edge is included with my suite.

Deck 5 tucked in by the forward elevators.

It is on the ship when you are disembarking, there will be information in your cabin from the Captain's club with the time and place. On S class ships it is usually in Tuscan.

We cancelled and rebooked Dinner on the Edge and saved an additional $25, discount went from 7% to 15%.

Booked a restaurant a few days ago, still the same 7% discount today.

Thanks for this review. Can't wait to see more. We were supposed to be on this cruise but our house had other ideas. We have the same cruise booked for December.

I don't know either and I'm trying to find out. I probably wouldn't redeem as much if I can't use it until I'm onboard. Does anyone know the answer to this dilemma?
I don't know the answer but if you still have payments to make on the cruise, book and pay for the excursions using the card then cash in points to reduce the balance due on the cruise. Same # of points and value either way I think.

Sorry but it has been this way for years and years and 400 points are not really that many. Try to enjoy your cruise and check out Princess in the future.

You also get 2 bottles of alcohol and mixers of your choice, or you can substitute wine or champagne.

We wish they would resume sailing from Bayone to Canada too.

With the current price of potato chips, on the high side of $6 a bag here, it could now be classified as fine dining.

We use Royal BOA Card points and MUST call Celebrity to apply them.
It is a chore but once it is approved the points show up..and we request a revised invoice reflecting it.
Best is if we have enough points to reduce final payment but that's alot of points!
We always use them to reduce final payments, same number of points either way.

I've never been able to see the prices for a specific cabin over several cruises without doing another search. There used to be an option if the itinerary is exactly the same, to change dates at the top of the pricing page but I haven't seen it for awhile. This kept you from having to go back to the beginning.

Additional tipping for suites
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted · Edited by CHEZMARYLOU
On our last cruise I did not realize I had a broken bone in my foot, I just knew it hurt and didn't want to take the pain pills my doctor gave me because I was drinking wine. Our butler brought me bags of ice twice a day so I could keep the swelling down. I consider that above & beyond and tipped an additional $100 to $150 for a 10 night cruise. Oh, and he also gave me a bottle of Vevue for packing day.
