Bonaire is one of my absolute favorite ports.  If you are into diving or snorkeling...you will be in heaven!  Even if not, it is a beautiful little island to Enjoy anyway.  🙂

If you enjoy snorkeling, Woodwind Bonaire is one of the best snorkel excursions in the Caribbean. You can check them out and book thru their website....

I was told that the luggage tags would be available 45 days before the cruise begins.  😊

49 days from Embarkation. Tags are on the last page of edocs. I normally print the needed luggage tags, and email myself the edocs file. It is lengthy.

We booked a refundable deposit this past weekend for a B2B in 2021.  It cost us $200 more, but is worth the peace of mind.  How do I tell onipt the invoice that it's refundable?  I've looked over it, and not seeing it.

On your receipt, there is NRD next to cruise fare for non-refundable deposit. It's not there on refundable.

This non-refundable vs. refundable deposit thing has been a huge discussion in my home.  Since we weren't going to be looking at any suites, we wound up booking the more expensive refundable cabins (3).  We have never sailed RCCL, and taking the risk to put down non-refundable deposits on three cabins for a cruise that is 10 months away is just not something that we were willing to commit to right now.

As a non-RCCL cruiser, I wish their website didn't default to the non-refundable deposit. It makes it hard to get an accurate idea of actual prices.

You know you can complete a booking including your name, BD, etc and the software will give you the option and price of refundable deposit? Just don't complete the booking with credit card info...

We've decided to book.  I'm waiting for the TA to call me back.

I did this itin on Princess several years ago, and they had a professor on that presented the entire construction history. Malaria was the biggest hurdle...

Can’t you buy a medical only policy?  The medical only policies we sell here in Canada have costs similar or lower to what you mentioned (age based) but provide $5 million in medical and evac.

Look up Geo Blue. Great medical/evac coverage only. No pre-existing. No price based on cost or other price issues. $42e. Must purchase within 6 months of sail date...trip insurance store.

We use the Klymit sleeping pad too.  We've used it several years for multiple cruises and it has not leaked at all.  We tell the steward we have it and we put it on the bed the first night.  One time the steward came to introduce himself the first day and saw us blowing up the pads.  He immediately came in and tore into the bedding and put the pad on and remade the bed.  He seems upset that we were going to make the bed ourselves.  He got an extra tip that time.

I have one too and have brought it on my last two cruises but didn't need it. It rolls up very small when deflated. I have also emailed special needs and requested a mattress topper and it was provided on both Freedom and Navigator.

This may be a dumb question but I haven’t cruised on RCCL since they started allowing the printing of your own luggage tags. Do you print these on heavier weight paper?  I noticed the instructions on them say to staple or tape at certain points. Do they hold up well to the handling by the port guys/longshoremen who take your luggage?

If you look around on websites, you can find clear plastic holders with steel loops for RCI luggage tags. They work great..
