  1. I sailed on the Breeze during Spring Break in April 2016 and the lines were not super long when we tried it on a Sea Day. There is a wait, but it was worth the experience IMO. I imagine the lines will be a lot shorter since it's the first month of school for a lot of kids up north (School starts first week of August here in Atlanta).

  2. Why put out a full deposit if there's no benefit at all? It's like buying/leasing a car. Why pay $3000 down, if you could just roll it in the payment? (assuming you have perfect credit).

To me, It's not stupid at all. And if you decide to cancel before Final Payment with ES, you're not dinged as bad.

Princess, HAL, NCL, Carnival, Celebrity (occasionally), etc all offer this.

  3. You seem quite angry for something so minor. I do not book connecting cabins as there are always noise issues, but for example, on a MSC cruise I'm planning, the only balconies I can choose are connecting only. I don't have a choice.

A lot of times when people book a cruise online through a travel agent, there's no mention if the cabin is connecting or not without looking at the legend and at the map.

Book early and you get your pick.

  4. I think you would be crazy to go all the way back to the ship for lunch.. Just enjoy HMC  It's gorgeous. I don't know about the food as I went to HMC on Holland America, but we found it great for what it was. It wouldn't be worth the trip to the boat and back just to get a bite to eat.

  5. I don't think the internet is Carnival's fault. Almost all other cruise lines besides Royal have slow internet.. Royal just happens to use the greatest and latest technology VOOM, and it also depends on which ship you're on. We used it on the Empress of the Seas which just got the new technology installed when it came back from Pullmantur and it was super fast. On the Independence two months later, super slow.

We like both lines equally and just sail with one if the price/date is right.

    Thanks for the review though.

  6. We just booked a Ocean Suite on the Victory.. Only $200 upgrade through a TA and it comes with $95 more OBC than the balcony so only $105!!

What are exactly the perks? I know it's something along the lines of Faster to the Fun, but anything else?

    Thank you :)

  7. Last year we did glory for five days. The sea was rough and we rocked on all decks the entire time. This year we are planning on glory. I have sailed in the past on victory and legend and they didnt seem as rough even in rough waters. Does glory compare more wit paridise or the latter in rough seas? is it much bigger than paridse?

Bigger the ship, less motion. We were on the Empress of the Seas (which is smaller than the Paradise) and motion was terrible. When we were on the Breeze, the motion was subtle. Both times we were in cabins all the way at the front.

So in conclusion, you're experiences aline with my examples. The bigger the ship, the less motion. The Glory is bigger than the Victory and the Legend!

  8. I have used one of those sites for American Airlines and Southwest gift cards. Well, both cards were good and I flew about 10% off the original price :D, but with all the deals available for Carnival's Gift cards, I wouldn't even take the chance on those sites. Rewards for Change is free for everyone on AARP!!

  9. We were on the Eurodam in April and ordered food of the MDR menu. It was delivered quickly as we were all tucked in bed and bunks watching a movie on the new decent sized flat screen. All 3 courses, a bread basket, and a nice tiny vase with a flower. No charge.

    Now that's... Room Service..

I think you can order anytime the dining room is open at diner so 5:00-9. Enjoy the Eurodam!! We loved her.
