    2022 - Again, the DMW system took all the TD-ers (at least them) and pre-assigned to tables.  They assigned the smallest available table-size to fit the cabin occupants without regard to Personalizer choice.  That means the 2-tops are going to have disappeared quickly, followed by the 4-tops.  Not to mention that if other passengers got in ahead of you on their own, that could affect it.  It is also my observation that at least some voyages in 2022 do not have all of the table inventory released and in at least some cases, an entire DR is not showing up in choices.  IDK what time you are trying to book, but if it conflicts with standard TD time, then space will be limited.  Also, when a table is booked at, say 5pm, we don't know how long that table is blocked off until opened up again.  I am guessing 2 hrs since the default Early and Late TD being used first are 5pm and 7pm.  Since Princess has been non-communicative on how the DMW system is actually working, this is a lot of speculation and guessing based on behavior.  It needs work and I expect sometime down the road, more inventory will be released as they called it a "soft launch" in email communications asking about the defects.

     

    I'd say stay tuned, keep trying time to time, and last resort is visit the MD on board and make your request.  They can often help out.  I predict much anguish from those guys once they see what a mess they are handed from DMW the way things are right now.

    Thank you steelers for your response I'm hoping the social distancing rules for 2021 will work in our favour, I'll keep trying from time to time & I'll watch this topic carefully on cc

  2. Good morning, I'm sorry if this question has been covered before in the past pages but I can't find it! so I'm hoping someone can help.

    My husband son and I are sailing on Regal in Oct(fingers crossed) we selected anytime dining when we booked, I've tried to pre book dine my way which keeps allocating a table of 8, it's my sons first cruise in years and he just wants us to eat as a family, will I be able to book /queue on a daily basis and ask for a table for 3?? I'm a bit confused with the new DMW

    I've also tried to book a 2 top for my husband and my cruises for next year but keep getting offered an 8 again??!!

  3. I was doing really well with the app had got to 'green lane' with the booking for myself, my husband and son and then last night it all went haywire!!! 

    Captains circle number changed, went from elite to never cruised with no bookings (I have 3),and half my personal details were my sons which it wouldn't let me change 😂 it also gave me a 6 week phantom cruise 😂

    I've left the 'issues' in the hands of a very helpful lady from Princess 🤞

    I saw that statement too which contradicts the table in the T&Cs?!

Someone on Facebook commented this morning that there are now revised T&Cs re cancellations by P&o which seem to indicate that the 125%FCC if P&o cancel is now gone with a max of 120% and that only being if p&o cancel within 14 days of the cruise, if they cancel within 90-43 days they will only pay 105%FCC.... I've read the T&Cs to try and understand but I'd welcome anyone else's interpretation.

    I tried to screenshot the table from the website but to no avail.. sorry!

    Sorry I can’t give you the name but last year I emailed josh Weinstein (I got his email address off the Internet just by searching his name ) with a complaint that was not getting resolved and he passed it on to this lady who was able to sort it for me, so maybe worth a try.

    We were booked on the 2nd April cruise and cancelled on I think the 13th March as my cousin was over 70, we had paid in full,  they told me I would get 125%FCC, we booked through a TA 

    Hope that helps, please post if you get anywhere.

  7. The same thing happened to me, asked for the 125%FCC but received a refund instead which means that I’m £420 out of pocket, was told they couldn’t do anything about it, not really acceptable especially as I’d waited 81 days for them to do anything & they’d assured me my FCC was on its way !

    I actually contacted a lady who works in Paul Ludlow dept who’d helped me last year and she still couldn’t sort anything !

    Very disappointing, I’ve cruised with P&O since 1986 and I was trying to keep money with them !!!

  8. Making some progress at day  78 remains to be seen if the refund arrives ! and the FCC from my other cruise still hasn’t been applied and that ones at day 80 !......

    Interestingly all the ‘refund’ or ‘lack of’ refund discussions on the Facebook page have suddenly disappeared probably as so many people were complaining there were so many of them......

    This could be the answer to my missing refunds ....I’ll give it a go tomorrow....not that I want to book another one at the moment but it’s worth a try 🤞

    Agreed.  We too got the standard e mail with the reference. With regard to TA contacts the only information I have received from them is an infuriatingly annoying e magazine which seems to appear with increasing frequency (or is that just my weeks all blurring into one).   I have been very happy with this travel agent In the past but I think they should just have a think how some of their loyal customers are feeling.

    Worryingly just read a post on the Facebook page where a gentleman had spoken direct to P&O re his missing refund from March booked through the same TA as me and they admitted that the March refunds from said large TA had all been missed off the system and had not been actioned 🙁 ...... guess that explains my missing refund which was cancelled on the 12th March, but not the refund of the cruise on the 14th March booked direct with P&O 😳

  12. Can’t get through on the phone so messaged Sarah Wing (thanks for the email) ....l hope I may hear something re my 2 refunds ...one is 71 days from cancellation and one 69 days...fingers crossed.

    Felt guilty messaging but I have been patient....watch this space I’ll let you know what happens next 🤞

    Ooh that gives me hope, I’m on day 69 today for one cruise and day 67 for another no refund yet but must be nearly there ....or is that just wishful thinking !! ....and I haven’t had any emails either 😳

    🤣🤣 reminded me of our Alaskan cruise, spent all afternoon on deck looking for sea otters, we were frozen and went to the cabin to get warm, looked out of the window and two went past .....perfect view 😍

    I agree, we are booked on Tuesday too ...I’ve been on hold now with P&0 for just on an hour as we want to cancel, I’ve emailed and Facebook messaged but no response and I don’t want to find we lose our money because we are in the 48 hours zone ...I’ve been trying to get through to P&O since Thursday ! I do feel for them and I know they must be swamped but this is stressing me out !!!
