  1. You are asking people who don’t possibly work for RC to answer your question and who might very well speculate what the answer might be and if by chance someone does know the answer (and that’s a big IF) it is more than likely because they spoke with someone from RC so I am thinking why don’t you just call RC and ask your question. And you are talking about amusing. Really. 🤔

  2. So sorry to hear the lack of service provided by some PCC. Our PCC has been great. He is always on point with returning phone calls and responding to emails. If I spot a drop in price I can contact him on his cell and he will make the adjustment. He actually encouraged me to use his cell if he does not answer the NCL number. Not sure if the cell is his private line or is issued by NCL and I really don’t care as long as I continue to receive great service.

  3. We’ve sailed Carnival, RCL, Celebrity, and NCL.

    CARNIVAL= Hated it

    RCL= Enjoyed

    Celebrity= Disappointing

    NCL= Favorite

    These are my opinions based on my experiences. Please don’t waste your time trying to change my opinion. Thanks much and happy cruising to all on whichever cruise line you choose.

    Any idea why Royal Caribbean canceled the San Juan port call for 10/30/21 Symphony OTS cruise and others?

    I understand why they canceled Labadee, Haiti after their president was assassinated. Just don’t know why they also canceled San Juan.

    I am sure if you contact the cruise line, they will tell you why. They would surely know the correct answer.

  5. Just spoke with my NCL CC and he shared with me Norwegian’s test cruise is scheduled for August 1st and he will be on board. It will be seven days and will leave out of Seattle for Alaska. I believe he said there will be a total of three ports.

    Also, I had him to check the prices of our three upcoming cruises in December. All three have dropped in price saving us $1100 total on all three. Lastly our finally due dates have moved from August to October.

  6. My preference is to cruise on a ship where everyone is fully vaccinated. I have no problem with social distancing as much as possible (not taking a crowded elevator, taking the stairs, eating at a table for two, no sitting in the hot tube with other people…something I didn’t do pre-Covid, wearing a mask, etc. If asked I have no problem showing proof of vaccination.

    Now let’s see who will be the first to try and argue with me about “MY” preference and what I don’t have a problem with to get back to cruising. News flash…Please don’t waste your time arguing opposite views as if what a total stranger, someone I care absolutely nothing about, someone whose opinion I care even less about can or will influence me to change my mind. You do you and I respect you for that. Happy cruising.

    I am fully vaccinated and do not enjoy wearing a mask and I do not wear one when I don't have to.

    But, if I walk into a business and they tell me they are uncomfortable, for whatever reason, and want me to wear a mask, I respect their decision and wear a mask. That is their right. They decide how they run their store and who they want to service. To tell them that they can't enforce what they feel safe with is a violation of their inherent rights. How is it any different than "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service"? I don't see people complaining about that. We need to stop arguing about the stupid masks/vaccination requirements and respect what others, including businesses, feel comfortable with.

    If you don't want to get vaccinated, then it is on you if you do get sick. That again is your choice. I hope you do not but the decision is yours.

    If the cruise lines want to require 100% vaccinated, then that is their right. You have no right to carriage on their ships. Many cruise lines already deny people with and without reason; again because it is their right. No one has a right to go on a cruise and you can be denied with or without reason.

    Well said.

    The T&C still says up to 10 certificates.  Well, at least this link which gets converted to a Canadian specific link as I'm in Canada
    https://www.ncl.com/ca/en/cruisefirst-program

    Maybe the person you dealt with didn't know the conditions fully.

    All I needed was one. I used some Cruise Next certificates we had on the other two. I am satisfied. Again good for you being able to get ten. Hopefully you are are satisfied with your 10.

    Can only apply one to a cruise, but can buy up to 10.

    I was actually booking 3 cruises (b2b2b) and was told I could only purchase one use one. If you were able to purchase 10 of the new Cruise First Certificates then good for you. I was told I could only purchase one and could only use one.

  10. There is always one in the bunch. I guess there is some truth to what they say. Ignorant people don’t know they’re ignorant. What I wear in my car is none of your business and has absolutely nothing to do with this thread or my post. In case you missed it, we are talking about cruising. Thank you!

  11. On all three of our upcoming NCL cruises, we will wear masks, practice social distancing as much as possible and we welcome capacity restrictions in restaurants and other onboard venues. We will also be mindful on which excursions we take. Please don’t waste your time with a come back. You do you (I respect that) and we’ll do us. Enjoy your cruise everyone and we’ll certainly enjoy ours.

  12. We have three cruises planned (b2b2b). If NCL changes its position and goes with cruising without the being vaccinated we will not cruise. Cruising is not important to us.

    We will not allow anyone to use us as their political pawn. I could care less about the DeSantis’ political career. My only concern is for the well being of my husband and myself. I know far to many people who contracted this deadly disease and way to many who are no longer with us. Please don’t bother to respond with idiotic response that Covid is not real or that no one has or is dying from Covid. Keep that foolishness to yourself.

    I just wish there was a way DeSantis was force to personally pick up the medical tab for anyone who gets Covid while on these RCC ships or at least require that those who get infected to stay in Florida where 100% of all medical needs will be provided free of charge.

    Happy cruising to all you brave souls willing to be use by DeSantis to make his political point. For now DH and I will sit back and watch how this all plays out. We still have time to cancel.

  13. Booked 3 cruises B2B a while back. Total of 21 days. Called my CC and asked about the double points. He happily rebooked. Will receive a whooping 63 points. Also one of the cruises went down a few dollars and he rebooked us at that the lower price.
