Key question, is Louis Armstrong going to sing What a Wonderful World on sail away? That would make it complete.
Steve, someone did ask that question…and yes, we will hear Louis sing at sail away😊-

It was so touching to hear Captain Bierger speak so fondly about the crew and Crystal guests. And for him to confirm that more than 80% of the folks who make Crystal-Crystal will be returning !! So excited!!!

This might be helpful to some:
Our voyage reservations were made in Timmy’s name. He was able to access them, create an account and upload his passport and our travel information.
On my iPad, I clicked on the two lines in the upper left corner and found the My Account button on the bottom left corner.
Upon creating my account, I did not see our voyages listed in the box “My Bookings”…I clicked on the button “Don’t see your booking?”I entered Tim’s name, his Crystal Society Number and our Booking Number…received the following message: “your account is linked to an existing booking”…then I exited my account…left the Crystal webpage and when I returned to My Account…miracle of miracles…our voyages were there in the My Bookings box 😊 and I was able to upload my passport information.

So, just trying to understand this …if we receive a back to back discount, and a loyalty discount…no airfare credit?

I’m looking at Business class flights to Europe for September 2023…they are almost 40% higher than we paid last fall.
Folks, have you booked flights through Crystal/GMT? Are you seeing a significant savings? -
Happy to see cigars are restricted to Connoisseurs Club😊

Please note that not all bottles are equal. Varietals that I don’t like get only a partial count.
I suppose it’s too much to hope for Nobu’s Chardonnay to magically reappear…-

Anything less than a 2-to-1 ratio -- two bottles per passenger per day -- will not be adequate. But I am not going to book until I see an exact number of bottles per voyage.😉
This.I’m with @FLcruiser2011 !
None of this “nearly” 1:1 ratio nonsense for me … I demand to know the precise, exact, down to the very liter ratio of wine to pax…or I will come here to cruise critic every ten minutes and demand that Vince and/or Keith get the ratio … Right. This. Minute.

My husband has a damaged ankle…so is not able to walk in sand. We are looking for a lovely spot for lunch. We’re open to all suggestions - including resort day passes and/or a super restaurant with a great view. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

When we did this on another cruise line…we were provided with small note cards to give to our butlers, servers, etc. to let them know that we had arranged for additional gratuities. Does X do something similar?

We are staying at the Courtyard Marriott Miami Airport West/Doral before our Thanksgiving sailing on Silhouette. They have a “park/cruise” offering. Not sure about a shuttle … we prefer to just Uber.

Probably the most recent independent review by a Celebrity cruiser that could well give you an insight...

We love corner aft cabins. For our next cruise we have a choice of 7358 or 2153 . The fact that these are the last two corner afts left, indicates there might be issues. The only issue with deck seven that I can think of, is that the Butler will not be as easily available to us as he/she would be if we were on deck 12 with all the other suites. The obvious issue with deck 12 is the cabin is directly under the Oceanview cafe. If you’ve stayed in either of these corner aft suites on Silhouette, I’d very much appreciate your feedback about the experience. Thank you.

On our last cruise there was a man who wore sneakers all the time. Turns out he was almost paralyzed a few years ago and could only walk with the use of a stiff ankle brace which would only fit under his special sneakers. Otherwise he was impeccably dressed.
Yes! This could be my sweet husband … his ankle brace only fits in a size 14 sneaker. When cruising he quietly explains to staff why he is noncompliant … we’ve never felt it necessary to explain to fellow passengers…-

Bob! I just spent a most pleasant half hour reading through this post. Your photos and descriptions are wonderful. We are still weighing our post—Crystal options and your recent experience probably just tipped the scales. Thank you 😊
