I thought this was an automatic $20 fee/bottle when you board, no matter whether you use it in your cabin or in the dining room. I think it is a ridiculous charge but would like to know if I am wrong. Thank you, Cherie
I had the wine on my carryon. They saw it thru the X-ray of the bag. Voila, $20 per bottle, whether in cabin or dinner table.

I was very surprised to have to pay a corkage fee on our 2 bottles of wine we brought on board. $20 each.

Turned out husband got his negative PCR results in time to board but I did not. I showed them proof of testing for me. Easy Peezy. Swabed my nostrils and 15 minutes, done.

Our dear friend that is in the cabin next to us on tomorrows Niew Statendam sailing, unfortunately was around outside with somone who recently tested positive for covid. The health questionnaire asks that question. God bless her, she did the right thing and said yes. Unfortunately she was then lead to another screen and referred to talk to someone. Long story short, she’s not allowed to sail. Haven’t got her covid results back yet, done 12/24/21. Even if negative its a no go. Quarantine from exposure to illness 2-14 days. I bet there are many people who say no to that question even though they were. Thus outbreaks on the ships. Hard to say. My husband got his negative covid test from yesterday. I’m still waiting for mine.

Hi Bill and Maryann, Thanks for the tips, I now see your glorious pictures. Can you please find out how many passengers are expected tomorrow, Dec 26th sailing. Thanks much.

I spoke to Holland today. And was assured we could test at the port if our covid results weren’t available. As stated on their web site👍

Has anyone not gotten their negative covid results in time to board your ship, and been tested at the port? I think this holiday 2 day travel has produced many challenges. Hollands web site said if we produce proof that testing was done but results not available, they will test us at the port for free.

Have you posted your pictures? Am I supposed to click on something? Loving your writing, just dont want to miss anything.

Our CVS in Florida doesn’t offer testing Dec 24 or 25. We need ours the 24. Walgreens requires to register with all your info before you can even schedule. MD Now I guess is our best option. Open 365 days a year🙏🏻 No appointments necessary, just walk in.

I watch this post daily. Thank you for your effort and time👍

Does she have passengers on her?

Do we have any details on their quarantine? Are there passengers on board?
-
Aren’t the tours from the ship planned to go to areas to prevent exposure to Clovid? I didn’t think you could do independent tours?

Hi Drend, We are D+ on RCCL, and sailed a lot with Celebrity and a couple with Princess. If food is important to you, as it is with most people, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with Holland. I believe its a few steps above the others. We did the British Isles with RCCL, loved the the ports of call. The combo you want to do with Holland sounds great! One thing I really love about Holland is, you can stay in your cabin until your time to disembark! ++++ the best. Good luck! Happy sailing.

I thought I read yesterday that she was disembarked. I don't recall which ship, or even where, though.
Great to hear. These are tough times

Where’s Melinda Mann and the other US citizens? I noticed the Koningsdam is the closest to the Oosterdam it’s been in quite a while. Maybe they’re finally being transferred to the K like she said and maybe soon they’ll be on their way home to the USA!
