  2. Just received a notification Carnival is not accepting our proxy statement as proof of share ownership because it is not dated within their three month window. Since we only receive this annually that limits its application. Not a positive view for us re Carnival. Princess has accepted our proxy statement with no problem.
  3. Can’t link my booking number in the app. I get “this booking number has already been claimed”. However in the cruise personalizer all is fine. Anyone had this problem?
  4. Considering Princess Platinum Insurance. My understanding from reading the provisions of the plan is that with regards to pre existing coverage I need to pay for the plan to activate the effective date. That way, if I get a prexisting condition before the cruise but after the effective date, I am covered? Also, if I should cancel the cruise before final payment, would I receive a refund for the Platinum insurance? thanks for your help.
  5. Also be careful if you are on a cruise that is sold both as a back to back and a single cruise. We were on the single sold cruise and when we were charged three times for unordered drinks and complained to the pursers desk we were told the error happened on the first leg and accounts had been closed off. After a great deal of back and forth and insistence on our part, we did receive a credit.
