  1. My 22yo daughter arrives to FCO at 9:30 am, and my husband and I arrive at 11:30am. After she retrieves her luggage, is there a spot for her to wait for us? Is there a nearby cafe? Is it safe from pickpockets, etc?
  2. Hello! I'm a little overwhelmed! I'm willing to get a private transfer if needed, but would kind of like to take the train for the experience? We are staying near the Trevi Fountain, and I'm looking for transfer on July 25 to the Norwegian Epic. We will have 4 adults with luggage for a 9 day cruise (two in 50s and two in 20s). My husband has a bad hip, so I would like reserved seats and room for luggage, and I'm willing to pay extra for comfort. From Termini I'm seeing the Intercity 510 from 0957-1045 for 36 euros 1st class reserved seats with the "together fare", and Frecciabianca 8616 frin 1157-1244 basic fare with reserved seats for 64 euros. I think this is just to Civitavecchia and not to the port? Any input on those two trains, getting to Termini from Trevi Fountain, and then getting to the Epic? TIA!
  3. We will be on the NCL Epic in July and we overnight in Livorno. Is there a specific time we have to be back on the Epic the first night? I was looking at an all day tour out of Florence, but it does not get me back to the train station in Livorno until 10:36pm. (I found one old post that said they shut the doors at 11pm). I asked NCL via chat and they did not know the answer and said to ask once on board. Does anyone have a daily from the first day? Or, any insight in to the shuttle/taxi availability that late in the evening? Thanks!
  4. Which tour did you do? I’m looking for advice. They have a 3 hour West End West Bay or the 4 hour North Shore snorkel tour.

  6. True! I’m fairly new to cruising (this will be my third). It seems like this is an app or webpage issue with NCL, so im not sure how the TA could fix that. Previous to this issue the app has been fully navigable and I’m pretty app/computer savvy. I’ll call the TA at 10 CST per NCL requirement and go from there!
  7. I know! I’ve been able to make dinner reservations and book excursions without my TA!
  8. Yes I did and they told me to call. I wonder if I call and get a different person if they could help? My booking company opens for calls at 10am CST. Thanks!
  9. I’m getting errors when I try to make reservations for Six. I’m 21 days out and others in my roll call have made reservations. I’ve tried the app and the computer, updated the app, logged out and logged back in. I can choose my date, time, and guests then when hitting enter the error comes up. I called NCL and they said they can’t help me because I booked via a big store with cheap hot dogs. Is anyone else having this issue? Are early reservations only if you book direct? Thanks
  10. Which wine tasting did you do? My daughter is interested in learning more about wine and I thought a wine tasting on our cruise in March on the Breakaway would be fun!
  11. Can you tell me which wine tastings would be good for a beginner? My daughter is interested in learning more about wine. We will be on the Breakaway in March and I believe they have the wine and chocolate pairing class and a “black glass” class. Thanks!
  12. Can you run hot water through the Hamilton beach machine and brew your chicory in a small French press or get a pour over filter? Also, I saw some instant chicory on Amazon.
  13. I order coffee and fruit to be delivered to my room every morning and then also drink the coffee provided at the breakfast venue I choose (dining room, o’Sheehan’s or buffet) with my meal. I will load money on to my daughter’s Starbucks app for occasional fancy coffee for her to get. My understanding is that everyone in the room has to get the package so we will just pay as we go if we get Starbucks.
