We have a 12 nt British Isles cruise booked for July 2021, which is over 400 days away. Hoping and praying that cruising and travel will be back to normal before then! Out of curiosity, I logged onto our cruise planner for that cruise. I was shocked to find that I could make some reservations for dinner, one shore excursion was showing up, as well as some other options such as beverage packages, voom, the key, and spa treatments. I was able to make some MTD reservations for our party of 10 for the four nights we plan to eat in the MDR. Never imagined this would be available this early! How early have you all been able to book these things in your cruise planner?

We have never stayed in a suite but a few years ago we had family members stay in an owners suite, a Crown Loft suite and a Star loft suite. The lofts suites had some appeal but if you have any mobility issues the loft suites have too many stairs. The nice thing about an owners suite is it has a pretty awesome balcony
I am all about the balcony, I usually book a junior suite with an oversize balcony. I love sitting and enjoying the ocean view and sounds. I am intrigued by the aqua theater suite, because it has a wrap around balcony, with an ocean view and a people watching/aqua theater view. I'd like to enjoy higher level suite benefits on this cruise as well. I guess I need to decide which is more important, proximity to the Coastal Kitchen and Suite Lounge, or the balcony?

Thanks, everyone. I was hesitant to look at the Crown Loft, because I am prone to motion sickness. I was worried that I might feel the motion more on the 17th deck.

I have a cruise booked for March 2022 on Oasis. It will be the first cruise for just my husband and myself, our daughter will be in college. We are currently booked in a junior suite, which is what we normally book. I'm considering a splurge, and would like to enjoy the suite benefits that you don't get with a junior suite. Recommendations on the Aqua Theater one bedroom or the Owner's Suite? Or even the Grand Suite?

Thanks, Little Britain! This is a new area to me, our first European cruise will be July 2021. We already have the 12 night British Isles booked on Jewel of the Seas. Now I'm debating between exploring a couple cities on our own before the BI cruise, or another cruise before it...

The dates line up for overlapping cruises...
Cruise A. Cruise B
July 4. Barcelona
July 5. Palma de Mallorca
July 6. Provence
July 7. Florence/Pisa
July 8. Rome. July 8
July 9. Naples. July 9
July 10. Cruising. July 10
July 11. Barcelona July 11

Has anyone else seen the same thing I have today? I'm looking at Harmony July 2021 cruises, and there are overlapping Western Mediterranean itineraries! Very confusing! Is this real? It looks like some people board the cruise ship in Barcelona for their 7 night cruise and then other people board in Rome for their 7 night cruise. I've never heard of this before!

Lot ones I'm looking at are typical from last yrs. Some I book can double by time Final Payment due. Another reason book day of release is I like get my Choice Cabin,...
I booked today, and I was lucky enough to get the cabins I've been eyeing for months! Deck 10, aft junior suites...there are only 2 on the whole ship, and I actually got them 😃

Are they already up on the website? I don’t see them!
No...I talked to someone directly at RCI on the phone.

So, I can tell you that it will not be the Brilliance doing the British Isles! Definitely is Jewel of the Seas... itinerary is a little different as well. I know this to be true because I just booked three rooms on the July 15, 2021 sailing!

I just saw Royal is having a major Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale. Not sure if I should wait to book, or book now with a refundable deposit. Can I change to non-refundable later? Cause it's usually way cheaper to do non-refundable & death is the only thing that's going to keep me from going on the cruise.
I always book refundable, so I'm not the best person to answer that question. I usually purchase an independent travel insurance policy too...
Are you looking for the 12 night in July too?

Ugh! I have been planning for a big family trip to the British Isles for months...I figured it would probably be Brilliance because that's what has been doing the 12 night. Now I'm wondering if it will be a different one. I did see the May Jewel for a couple hours last weekend. I wish they would just post them already! I see a 7 night on Anthem online now. We want the 12 night in July...I feel like the old Mervyn's commercial right now, staring at my screen, chanting "open, open, open..."

So Phase II in Dec ? What months does RCI do the British Isles?
The May 28, 2021 keeps coming and going but has now disappeared.
Are you waiting on pins and needles for the British Isles cruise too? I can't wait!

Welcome to CC.
You may need to wait a bit longer.
Thanks, I've been on the site for awhile but I haven't used the boards much...I used to use DISboards a lot years ago, looking forward to finding a new community of cruisers here!
And I am not the most patient person, lol! Seriously, someone mentioned that Brilliance might be pulled from Europe???? I've never sailed Radiance class, so not a big deal, as long as RCCL still does the British Isles 12 night!

I have been waiting forever for them to release the Europe 2021 cruises...looking for the 12 night British Isles in July 2021. Do you think that will be released with the Europe phase 1 or phase 2? Do you think it will still be on Brilliance?
