Never used the AC unit when renting the small Cabana. I have rented a Cabana 5 times, but the cruise line has out priced themselves with the huge increase. I was there on December 2, 2023 - I didn't rent one and only one cabana was rented and all of the Villa were empty.

Yes - book a verandah cabin. It's a must for Alaska. You can sit with drink of choice and enjoy cruising the glaciers at your leisure.

We are 44 days out before we cruise and have no boarding time. When do they assign your time?

We have rented the smaller cabana's 5 times and never used the AC unit, but I'm sure many do.

The cruise line have priced out the cabana's for most people. I have been to HMC 5 times and have always book the smaller cabana & loved it. I think the last time I booked it was $275 Jan 2020. I can afford the additional fee, but I refuse to pay it. It was great while it lasted. I'll be on the beach in a beach chair like my other fellow cruisers and still enjoy the most beautiful place ever, HMC.

I verified both our AARP & my husbands Military status with HAL. Both were verified in 20 minutes. I then selected the cruise we wanted to take and put a 24 hour hold due to the fact that the AARP verification said to wait 48 hours before booking a cruise. I paid for the cruise in full yesterday (11/24/23 - 12/03/23 cruise dates. Today, both credits showed up as OBC for this cruise. I didn't know about the AARP credit until I read about on the HAL boards. Thank you too who every shared that information.

If you can afford it, do the Dog Sled/Helicopter ride. We loved it. We did it in Skagway. Our Musher, Riley Dyche made the experience memorable. He finished 18th in this years Iditarod.

There are three MDR on the Caribbean Princess. The Island, Palm and Coral. I already made reservations dining in a different one each night. My question is, is one nicer, better or whatever over the others ones? I'm sure it a personal preference, but wanted to hear from others who have sailed on the Caribbean Princess. Thanks to all who take the time to answer my question.

My title is justified. If HAL wasn't welcomed, then they shouldn't note it as a port stop. I booked on 11/4/22, it changed 11/8/22.

Just book my cruise last Friday - Key West, Falmouth Jamaica, Cayman Islands & Half Moon Cay, This morning I wake up to email from HA telling me due to operational reasons the call to Key West has been replaced with Bimini, Bahamas. I am not happy with the change. I booked it because of the Key West stop. I have never heard of Bimini before...Very Disappointed!!. Also no on board credit to off set the itinerary change. This is my first time cruising with HA and it will be my last.
