Let me tell you. This ship is really rocking. It doesn't bother me but you feel it for sure. Some in our group say no but when you see things swaying, I say...see! 😂 🍹

Navigation Channel - They brought the music back! It's been on since we boarded. Last two cruises I was on, no music. 🍹 Current location - Day 3 late morning. Next stop St. Maarten, tomorrow.

It is usually made with Buffalo Trace Bourbon so we ask to switch to Woodford. 🍹

I have the menu posted just above. Woodford (our version), drambuie, a sherry & orange bitters. 🍹

Day 1. After lunch we went to the Retreat Lounge and got a cocktail and my dad had a few snacks. 🍹 There she is. Tennis lady. Not my feet Copperhead but with Woodford. Server re-named it the CopperWood for us. 😉

The sun isn't on this side of the ship right now so until I leave the cabin... 🤣 🍹

Back to Day 1. Lunch in Luminae. I posted the menu in an earlier post. I had the Borscht Soup, Cobb Salad no bacon and Creamy Dark Chocolate and Dulce de Leche. Bread Baguette - very good The Borscht. Completely different than last time. It was so good when we had it before. Not that this version was bad but not the same soup, at all. This was more beefy, tomato broth with some cabbage. Cobb Salad. Ugh. They did leave off the bacon which was correct. I can't stand bacon. I know I am in the minority here. The smell, taste. Yuck. Anyway...there was Bleu Cheese. It did not say blue cheese. I can't stand Bleu cheese either. 🤣 I gave it to my dad. There was also Feta, which I like but that went too because there was Bleu cheese flecks touching it. The red onions had to be some of the most rancid smelling things ever. I had to wash my hands after touching them. After all that. Eh. The greens weren't crunchy, the chicken petrified and the dressing needed more flavor. Tomatoes weren't ready to be eaten. Avocado - I picked that off too. Never again will I order that, even if I modify it. 😆 Dessert. Good. I would have preferred it it to be cold and not room temperature. It looks the least appetizing but tasted the best. 😝 Good things: Bourbon & Peaches - mmm. Service was good and friendly. Atmosphere nice. I know people don't like Luminae on E-class, I like it. We had a round table so half cushion, velvet booth and half chairs. I like them. My mom had the soup (didn't finish), butternut squash farfalle which she liked and then she enjoyed the apple berry crumble. My dad had the soup (not bad but not what was expected), shrimp cocktail, branzino which was the tiniest ever - we now say it was baby branzino, but he said it was good and then the Chocolate & Dulce de Leche. My boyfriend had shrimp cocktail and the Luminae burger with fries. He said all was good but the shrimp are too small. My dad agreed. The waiter said shrimp cocktail and Caesar salad were also available. He then named the Classics that are available for dinner each night. 🍹

Service was great. Food. For the most part good. Some misses for me. I'll post pics and details. The breakfast cards are in the cabin. I'm not sure if you can get breakfast during the hours listed if you call instead of using the card the night before. It has to be out before 2:00am. 🍹

Good morning from the Atlantic Ocean! Ordered breakfast, card left outside of the door last night. Had a phone call from Our Butler that he was outside. He brought everything in. He is very nice. A cloudy day when I peeked out of the curtains. Speaking of curtains. They have a mind of their own. Couldn't get them to close last night via the app. They finally did. They also must have been sleepy and didn't want to open this morning but then all of a sudden they did. 😉 Went out on the balcony and looked at a bird flying, watching as we make our way through the water and listened to the sounds of the waves. So nice. 🥰 You can start to see that brighter blue under the waves as the water is tossed around. I have to get ready for my pedicure and manicure. I feel like being lazy and staying in bed for awhile longer but I can't do that. 😝 🍹

Internet Premium. Starlink. Shaky at first but seems good now! Texting. ✔️ Internet. ✔️ WiFi Calling. ✔️ Celebrity App & Messaging. ✔️ 🍹

Butler Update We do have a dedicated butler. He seems nice. Will report more as time goes on. We had two requests: Evian for me. ✔️ Pineapple Juice for my boyfriend. ✔️ 🍹

Noise Update. No creaks or squeaks. The ship. Can feel it rocking though. Doesn't bother me but definitely feel the motion. 🍹

All staff have been super friendly! 🥰 Excellent service so far! 🍹

A great first day! We've been on the Beyond once before and even though that 'new ship' / never been seen feeling has previously happened...I still get that fuzzy feeling and also a 'welcome home'/we've been here before feeling. I do miss things about S-class but I do like this ship as well. Arriving to Port, being welcomed in the Retreat waiting area, boarding, muster drill, see our cabins, first cocktail, walk around, lunch in Luminae, check out the Retreat Lounge, meet up with our family friends, pick the day for Mixology Class, get specialty dining sorted out, hang out in cabin and laugh, meet up with Cruise Critic Roll Call (nice time and people), Sailaway, hang out some more, pizza for a snack, make pedicure and manicure appt, meet Our Butler, all luggage had arrived (1 of mine was delayed but finally came), get ready for dinner, eat dinner, 'run' down to get Effy charm with friend (first time collecting them - didn't get necklace until evening), 'fight' through the crowds 🤣 on my way back to Luminae, eat, have dessert, back to cabin, then walked around and visited some bars, Cafe Bacio, stores, etc...hung out with my mom and dad, ordered room service snack (currently waiting - 40min wait), and now the great unpacking! An early night. I have to unpack and I have a pedicure and manicure at 8:45am! What was I thinking?! 😂 🍹

He said it was super dark after Orlando going to the coast and zombies could have been coming out of the woods but wouldn't be able to tell. 🤣 No Bug or Captain Kate sightings yet! 🐈 🍹
