We are two adults as well, no kids. I still find the ship very exciting and I eventually want to sail on her. My husband? Not a chance in hell. I’m a big ship buff though and love to try out brand new prototype ships, regardless of cruise line. So I’ll go with my brother or a friend … eventually when prices become more reasonable. I’m willing to wait.
Next up the new SEVEN SEAS GRANDEUR with Regent in March. Totally different experience but one I’ll equally enjoy to something like ICON for different reasons.
Same for us we are also shortly sailing with Seven Seas for the first time a completely different experience no doubt but looking forward to it and at a much more in our opinion reasonable price.

We very rarely go the MDR nowadays especially in the evenings especially on the “ O “ class ships.

Did you ever verify if the EU outlets charged devices faster than the USA ?
They certainly appear to.
No idea as to why.

Never had an issue, we book 7 every night, turn up at 6:55, seated by 7:05, 95% of the time. Drinks cart in line, easy.
Try it on “ o “ class from Barcelona or Civitavecchia you’ll soon change your mind.

We recently took the water taxi.

It has a sister hotel named Hotel Capri about 200 metres away just behind the Carlton we stayed once when the Carlton was fully booked.
It was most acceptable.

Wow that’s amazing we haven’t stayed there for about three or four years since Venice banned the large cruise ships we usually paid about €200 for a double room there including an excellent breakfast.

It was Jewel. I was on that cruise in Sept. 😉
You’re 100% correct it was definitely Jewel of the Seas.

No, the stories you hear are a few and only from those with an issue. The thousands like myself who are mostly satisfied with MTD have no need to post. Never waited more than 10 minutes for a table.
That’s rubbish you should see the complaints and lines especially on certain nights a total shambles.

Following on.
We’ve tried second MTD twice on “ o “ doing this Barcelona itinerary and now always book traditional second sitting when cruising on it and it’s never been an issue your table and servers are always waiting for you.
I’d definitely go this way.

On any “ o “ class ship sailing from Barcelona trust me you will be waiting anything from 30 to 60 minutes maybe more on the first night plus the La Spezia and Civitavecchia ports when cruisers are late getting back to the ship and missing there booked times.

I don't see any value if you are D+ or Pinn.
My thoughts also.

Carlton on the Grand Canal
Train station two minutes out of station over the bridge in front of you turn right Hotel 100 metres on the left
Piazzale Roma out of hotel turn left three minutes over two bridges
Tronchetto People Mover as above
Vaporetto two minutes out of hotel turn right over the bridge

No age limit at all for breakfast lunch or dinner.

We will rock you we thought was extremely poorly acted on Anthem last year.
Music Hall was good but always packed out.
Need to get there very early to get a seat.
-
Definitely Symphony not a lover at all of Quantum class especially Anthem.
-
Saw it earlier this year a decent enough show to see once.

The trick is on debarkation day, get an elevator going up, grab your spot, and then just ride it up, then down…LOL
Always do self assist and this is exactly what we do also it’s never been a problem.

When the staterooms haven’t really mattered to us we’ve booked a guaranteed room on six occasions.
We’ve never been disappointed with the assigned stateroom and on one occasion were upgraded.

This is tonight's menu isn't it? Christmas Eve? not tomorrow nights Christmas menu isn't it?
@suzyluvs2cruise if you have a picture of tomorrow Night's Christmas Menu, please copy and paste it here form other unnamed site you are talking about?
On our last Christmas cruise ( not that I ordered it ) but turkey was served on Christmas Day not Christmas Eve.

Sorry to be nosey.
Is that a UK or USA agency?
I’m struggling to find a decent price.
