keith, have a fabulous cruise and i'm sure you will. you seem to be such a positive person and it seems you see the glass half full instead of half empty. i am looking forward to reading about your experiences and impressions of the ship, the food, the crew and the itinerary. bon voyage to you and anne marie. even though i haven't met either one of you, i feel like i know you from all your messages and ansers on cruise critic. i sure hope we meet some day, expeically on a cruise.

Your pictures are fabulous. I’m really looking forward to this hotel and I’m glad I made the choice to stay there. I’ll have to let them know what time the cruise ship docs and maybe they’ll come and pick me up and take me to the hotel and my room would be ready early just like you and then perhaps they will take me to the airport when I leave so I have to check all those things out with them.

Suze thank you for your recommendation. I have gone ahead and reserved a room there for a couple of nights when I’m in Lisbon and it does look like a wonderful location.

nancy, the avenida palace looks very nice. is it in a good central location to most things because i have heard lisbon is a good walking city too.

nancy, i found two hotels with similar names: avenida plaza hotel and avenida park hotel. i wonder if they are near each other?

Keith, would you care to make a hotel recommendation for me in Lisbon sonce I've never been there. I did find and sign up for an all day tour to pena palace, sintra, cabo de roca and cascals. i think i need to see the belen tower my first day since i'll have all day there after the ship docks. and must get the pastes and some port wine too!

i am wild about mushroom soup and this sounds fabulous! can't wait to try it and all the other things mentioned here.

keith, you are absolutely right about the sub vouchers. they are offered by cabin and not by people. just wanted to let you know how brillaint you are. so i think if i reserve three cabins on the 2025 cruise, at least i'll be able to use three sub vouchers. just cant figure out how to use the fourth but i'll keep tryinig.

Thank you for your comments about what to visit while I’m in Lisbon. I’ll keep it on my cruise file and try to get to see those places when I am there. Really appreciate your interest in my trip.

keith, just read the article about you and your wife. i had no idea you cruised so often and for such a long time with crystal. i'm looking forward to my mediterranean cruise, like you. when the ship docks in lisbon, i plan to spend three days there to learn about the city and i won't forget to buy some custard tarts! congratulations on a wonderful looking family.

keith, do you happen to why everyone doesn't receive emails from crystal as you mentioned above? i would think we all should get all the emails especially since we are booked for a cruise.

Keith I understand what you are saying you were right, but why shouldn’t the people on the phone know what the exact policy iis? maybe this hasn’t really been sorted out correctly with the Crystal representatives on the phones

hello keith, i just got off the phone with a crystal representative and asked him about how can the sub vouchers be used. i said that i wanted to book a room for myself and a another room for my daughter, soninlaw and granddaughter. he said the if the three family members were in one cabin and i was in another cabin, on the same cruise, then they each could us a voucher. so that was the answer i wanted to hear. so i can use the three sub vouchers for my family in the same cabin. now i just need to find a cruise for 2025 and get it booked.

hello keith, this works out perfect for me. since i have four vouchers left to use until dec.31, 2025, i'm going to take the daughter, granddaughter and son in law on a cruise with me in 2025 and that's how i can use all the vouchers. now i just have to wait until the 2025 cruises are published. i hope it won't be too long now.

keith, i checked my certificate and it says my vouchers are good for travel by dec 31, 2025. thanks for your information. i was able to appy one voucher to my currents booking for the symphony on may 9, 2024

keith, since crystal divides their voucher into 5 vouchers, am i allowed to use all the vouchers on one cruise or does each voucher have to be used for one cruise only? i'm not sure what the policy is about that? do you?
