How hard it will be to be content with an inside cabin depends on your attitude.
Try to be thankful for what you have and look for wonderful little places to sit outside.
There are fabulous spots to find that are not on a balcony or on lido.

NO! And I don't want them selling the seats to the folks who spend money with no regard. There are things that should be open to all and not bought by the privileged.
Exactly.
Although I would not put it past them.
Already they are selling getting on ahead of others and better food than others get.
And I am paying extra to use the spa, so what is next?

Don't release balloons into the air. You are putting all our birds in danger.

No, those often end up in the sea also.
I believe in Pack it In; Pack it Out.

I don't understand about the hepatitis vaccine and laxative.

What are you interested in doing in New Orleans?
Driving in or flying?
How much time do you have?
My tip is to do your homework.
Definitely do not wait until the last minute to book a hotel.

I used the T pool December 2015 as I had a spa room and we never found more than 2 other people using it at the same time. I will be using it again in April as we sail again on the dream April 9th! I also loved the thermal suites' date=' hope this helps![/quote']
Thanks.
I am looking forward to hearing your impressions of the t pool and thermal suites.

I like Triumph enough to have sailed on it three times.
Once before the incident and twice since she came home to New Orleans.
On the good side, she sails from New Orleans.
Triumph has had some good upgrades.
It is big enough, but not too big.
And there are some deck chairs that are on the deck under the life boats that are a wonderful place to watch the horizon, read and fall asleep.
And I like that roof that closes over the swimming pool area in the winter.
On the negative side, it is not brand new.
But then neither is my house, or my car or me or most things in this world.
If everything was new there would be no vintage wine or shade trees or diamonds.

Our first cruise was on Song of Norway in 1982.
There was no casino, no television, and no buffet.
A lot of summer camp-ish activities that were fun.
Diving for spoons, horse race, bingo for trinkets.
Bed for two was smaller than a double bed.
And it was expensive.
But it was fun.
Oh. I got sick and by the time we got home DH was sick too.
There was no food in the house and we laid in bed too sick to go to the store and the whole room seemed to rock and rock and rock.
That was not so fun.

Any information about the thalasso pool on Dream would be appreciated.
Was it crowded?
What were the hours?
Basically anything you found interesting :)

The agent will help you use a computer to make airline reservations and drive you to a hotel.
Where you go next is up to you and how much you can afford.
The thing about the Caribbean is that it is one of those can't get there from here places.
To get from Nassau to St Martin you may fly to Miami, then to San Juan and then to St Martin.
It will not be inexpensive, in my economic reality anyway.

They only get your passport, nothing else.
This is true.

On sea days the brunch is good.
I like the steak and eggs especially.

I enjoyed your review.
It almost feels like we are friends after all the time we spent together. :)
The photos were great and you did look much more relaxed in the later photos.
Also, what a view from your home.
We live far far from the sea, but trees are nice too, I guess.

Honestly, this is one of the reasons that we book sleeper cruises on board. We trust our PVP to be honest and straightforward with us, so we transfer all bookings to him once we return. Then we can take our time deciding what we want to book and then firm it up without being rushed by the FCD person or feeling pushed because of all of the lines of others wanting to get to them.
Could you explain exactly how this is done?
Thanks.

Not saying you were but if a business offers us a rate reduction over some sort of problem would accept it graciously.
When I was staying at a Hilton a few years back the maid walked in on me as I was getting out of the shower.
(Husband had left the room while I was in there.)
Scared me to death.
Her too actually.
We were both screaming.
I called to talk to them about the incident and some cleanliness problems I had called about on the previous day.
The lady on the phone asked me what they had done for me the previous day and I told her that the guy apologized.
The lady said that meant he had not done anything for me.
She comped the room for one night of a three night stay.
So about a 33% discount and a valuable lesson.
I told friends that someone saw me nekkid and I got 150 bucks for it.:)

Wow a firemans pole wold be awesome especially if they greased it to speed it up and avoid lines:)
I want a slide going down and a climbing rope going up.

Worst: creme brûlée when the top still has undissolved sugar and is hard as a rock.
That sounds better than the crème brulee with a totally liquid top.
They used to have a dessert that was a fig cake with basil ice cream.
The basil ice cream sounds a bit weird, but was fabulous...and memorable.
There was also a really interesting lavender desert.
I wish I had photos of the antipasto they used to have at lunch.
It had baby octopus and other interesting stuff in it.
Definitely a reminder of high school science lab. :)
I used to go just to watch people's faces when it was served.

I will never again attend the art auction...

What guarantee cabin means to me is that if you booked a balcony guarantee, then at some point before your cruise, (probably around the final payment date, but maybe not) they will assign you a cabin.
Buying a balcony guarantee means that you paid for any balcony cabin they have available.
So you may get exactly what you paid for or there is a chance that you may get a cabin that is much better than you paid for.
You may get the least desirable balcony or you could get a fabulous balcony.
But you will get a balcony if you booked a balcony guarantee.

I wear crocs, but not on my head.

My PVP says they should have a 50 deposit on Monday how's Progresso I would love to go to HMC or Key West. I also don't want to pay a lot for airfare as well

Progreso is fine.
If you have any interest in Mayan ruins it is the place to go.
I would suggest Dzibilchaltun or Uxmal.
Dzibilchaltun is close, impressive and a good place to take kids.
But not just for kids by any means.
Uxmal is glorious. Huge pyramid, many other buildings, stuff to climb, green hills, and no peddlers. If you will only ever go to one Mayan site, go to Uxmal.
Or ride the bus into Merida.
(You can go to Chichen Itza, but the bus ride is longer than the tour)
Check out AutoProgreso tour company.
You can also just go sit on the beach for free.
And if you want some souvenirs, get them in Progreso.
They have a good selection and lower prices.
In Progreso it seems like sometimes the beach is nice and sometimes it is not.
It is not a Caribbean beach.
You want Cozumel to be your beach day, definitely, because they have the white sand and turquoise water.

That's what my PVP suggested, only downside is they don't have a serenity deck
Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
But it has those deck chairs on the side.
I love those deck chairs.
Last time we had a big extended aft balcony, but during the day it got really hot and we migrated down to those side deck chairs.
Most people have no idea that they are even there.
The serenity area on Fantasy class is wonderful too.
I just want to sit where I can see the water.
-
What's a good deck on the Fantasy class, we were on deck 10 on the conquest, deck 2 for the Breeze, deck 7 on the Valor, booked on deck 12 for the Magic in a spa balcony and I think 5 or 7 for the Vista right in the Havana area, so what's better for the fantasy class I know mid ship but is there a better deck for this class?
Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
I've sailed a bunch of Fantasy class ships.
Fantasy, Sensation, Ecstasy and 6 times on Elation.
I especially like the eating area behind the buffet dining room and the Serenity deck right on the back of the ship. The serenity is wonderful.
I like deck 8.
It is also a good for an easy debark.
From deck 8 aft it is easy and quick to get to the Serenity deck.
Mobile is a nice place and easy to sail from.
Plus it is close to beaches and has some cool things to see and do.
We sailed out of Mobile 6 times and the crew and passengers were always friendly and laid back.
However, I am going to suggest Triumph out of New Orleans.
You know, it's New Orleans! Triumph is much like the Fantasy class in being easy to get around, but has additional included eating areas.
It has a rear pool, in addition to the "lido' pool, that has a roof that closes for bad weather.
Plus, if you don't have a balcony there is an area on the deck below the lifeboats, 3 I think, with deck chairs looking out to sea. It is a quiet spot good for cloud watching, reading and napping.
We have done 3 trips on Triumph and would not hesitate to go on Triumph again.

I ate part of one of those burgers once.
There was grease all over the outside of the bun.
It was okay, but I was concerned that the amount of grease would make me sick.
It also takes a lot of napkins.
Someone mentioned that the condiment area was messy and it really kind of revolting looking.
