When you book a shore excursion you only have 24 hrs to pay upfront...not something I am willing to do so far out when ships aren’t even sailing yet...just another way for Princess to hold on to my money!

It’s a love it or hate it relationship.  Most love them...we were so excited when we got an upgrade to the center aft cabin.   turned out we loved sail aways and the aft wake view, but didn’t like not being able to see where we were going.  You definitely have to try it and make up your own mind if it is for you...I’m glad we did so I know for future bookings.

that might be good for those of us itching to get back on board...if I was making that much money, I wouldn’t want my meal ticket to declare bankrupcy🥴

The press release says that the prices paid for a 2021 cruise will be honoured for the same 2022 cruise yet they are not honouring this on the Canada and New England cruise which was on Regal Princess in September 2021 and was cancelled a few days ago. I rebooked yesterday and have paid over £1000 more for the same cabin on the same cruise on Sky Princess in September 2022. I questioned this and they told me that it because the cruise hadn't been paid for in full (we don't normally pay over 6 months in advance and not many do!) and so we had to pay the inflated price. yes!   happened to us also—-price increase was $1600...we are now seriously rethinking cruising with Princess ( even though we are elite—looking at other cruise lines)...very disappointed with their ethics!

asked for a deposit refund on a Jan 2022 cruise last week, received my credit card refund in 3 days-thx Princess!

just refared-they are out of chocolates, so had to settle for a $1200 cabin price drop😂

I had always used my PVP until a cruise last March.  I used a TA 😡.  When all the cancellations started I found out that I was on my own.  I waited for 3 months with absolutely no help, no FCD, no FCC, no refund.  I called my former PVP and she said she would help even though it wasn’t her booking.  She did get all of it sorted out, and I am back to booking with her exclusively...a couple of hundred dollars isn’t worth all the problems and headaches I had with booking through a TA!!!

ME TV channel on cable carries an episode every Sunday afternoon

Here’s a thought...2 ships for each itinerary- one ship with masks and then one without masks.  There are alot of non-vocal, non-confrontational, non-maskers who have valid opinions also.

nope-won’t wear a mask, had it, had vaccine, no need!

older demographic than early 50’s, but ships are certainly not dead like the HAL ships which roll up the carpets at 8 pm after dinner.  there are alot of activities and shows going on after late seating dinner.

For some unknown reason ours disappeared from our booking last week...called and they just reinstated it.

just yesterday I called and applied my DH shareholder credit for one excursion - I booked 2 tickets in his name-call excursion dept——they are very helpful!

Aft dolphin balcony on the Crown vibrated so much at different times it literally made my teeth chatter...some people love those aft balconies, but for me, not so much!

After you book a cruise, keep watching the price.  If it goes down you can refare and keep your same cabin, but at a lower price.  Same goes for EZair!

All of us on these boards are only speculating...our rhetoric holds absolutely no water,  sooooo, .....maybe we should just be a little more patient and see how the vaccines change things.  Remember all the unfounded hysteria over the speculation of getting a doctor to certify that cruisers had no pre-existing conditions....that was certainly a moot point!

We were on the Crown in Oct 2019..several of us booked it as 2B2B...we got our 2nd set-up on turn around afternoon.  Upon returning from dinner we all found out it had been removed!!!   complained all the way up the chain of command and were told NO..NO...NO...only one set-up if you don’t disembark....really???  That was not the way it was previous to that cruise, but got tired of banging my head against the counter at passenger services so gave up🤬🥴

It’s definitely cruise by cruise because one of ours has the sale and the other  one doesn't...the one with the sale went up over $500..no thanks, I’ll keep my old booking😁
