This entire thread is a wealth of knowledge for getting the most out of a Non-Haven cruise. Case in point: I was able to call today and book a Vibe Cabana for our 9/27 Bermuda on Getaway. They are still available 70 days out. I decided to do this because I checked and all Haven suites were sold out. I cancelled my "poor" upgrade bids and decided on a sure thing. My cruise now going in: Club Balcony Suite Vibe with Cabana Premium Plus Beverage Three Specialty Dining All of this is less than if I booked Haven outright (Trust me I checked), and I did so because of this thread. Most important, I would have been more than happy going with my booked room and original "Choose All's" so zero panic. Again thank you @Sthrngary

Gary thank you so much for this. I had passed around the idea of bidding on an "entry level" Haven for our Sept Bermuda cruise, but $1k additional seemed a bit much for a poor bid. I did something similar to your advise and feel really good about it after reading this: 1. Booked a Club Suite 2. Bid on Spa Upgrade 3. Additional Specialty Dining 4. Premium Plus Bev Bermuda is our favorite spot so we tend to spend a lot of time on the island but the above will hopefully give us the "Haven Lite" experience when we are on board. 🤞
