Cruising Juls

Just boarded the Discovery and today is the first day of The Catch By Rudi. We had Bistro reservations for tonight that switched over to Catch.

We board on 11/29, 5 day to Cabo. Two weeks from today. Medallions should arrive soon.

Just checked dine my way and our reservation for Bistro switched to The Catch with our same day & reservation time. Looking forward to a new restaurant.

We have Bistro reservations on our end of November cruise do they transfer over to The Catch?

I know they review our surveys, so I intend to restate my dislike for the new version on every survey I take. I have tried it on every cruise since re-start and have been disappointed. Princess keeps taking thing from us. Our favorite food items and OBC $$ incentive for continued Princess loyalty (49 cruises) to name a few. We still have a great experience onboard Princess ships but things have changed.

Hate it! I’m not a fan of raspberry flavored one. Bring back the chocolate one.

How far out can we select our arrival time at the terminal?

Princess needs to grandfather in the old plus into the new plus for those of us that booked early. Since they don’t it makes me think maybe in the future, I shouldn’t add the Plus Package until I ready to make final payment. I will not get the Premium Package again. Don’t need the Premium desserts, 4 device Wi-Fi, photo package and they don’t offer enough $18+ cocktails or wine. The only good part is 2 specialty dining per person.

What a waste. It took them so long to make and they didn’t have the correct topping as pictured. If you are a child you might like the added lollipop but for most of us it’s tooooooo much added sugar for our A1C. I wouldn’t do the Premiumm Package again.

Has anyone heard anything about the longshoremen work stoppage? Is this only cargo ship or will this affect cruise ships. They handle the luggage, loading the food and the passenger ramps??

We were on Sapphire Princess October 19-23 and yes we did have to park in the Catalina Express parking because the main lot was full. We believe there were cars from 4 or 5 different cruises. The day we left there was only one other ship at the dock. But another 2 or 3 ships had left a few days prior to our departure. This was the first time we had any problem parking. We have another cruise November 5-10 and it looks like 5 ships are due to use this port within that week. Looking at other options.
