Thank you for taking the time to share the full wine listings. It seems to be very much the same as what I have seen on the website. Same prices as previously. That's quite nice! Very grateful for ALL the work you have done in this live-sail with. I so wish I was there.

Vines is the new crooners. The qr code menu is missing many prices. They’ve reported the issue so maybe it’ll be fixed for next sailing. But in the meantime here’s the menu.

Thank you! I see you can order the Jordan Cab Sav by the glass - even with an extra charge over the $12 Princess Plus price - I'll be having that one. Your ship 2022.

We are in Southern British Columbia and right now BC’s numbers climb albeit slowly not near what some countries have.  Most of our stores are closed, just essential services like grocery, gas, banks etc like most places.  I work in healthcare albeit not on the frontlines but nevertheless still having to walk into the hospital and it feels almost like “into the line of Fire”.  It’s a very weird feeling and my heart goes out to all those truly on the frontlines.

I am on holidays as we were to be on the Island Princess going through the Panama now, so in light of us not going thought I would entertain my Facebook friends and am currently doing a “live from” on our cruise.  I’m using pics from previous cruises and making it fun as I go along.  I’m getting a good response and it keeps my brain thinking what to add for the next day while making friends laugh.

Stay safe everyone... until we cruise again.

So creative! Have fun. Best wishes for good health , in Canada. I like your idea to post past pics. Enjoy your virtual voyage.

Have only read a few pages when a poster mentioned this youtube video of members of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra playing Copeland’s Applacian Spring. Watch and enjoy.

Forgive me if it has already been posted.

  6. From my experience on the Star, aft wake view cabin, Emerald deck, there is a lot of vibration, in those  aft cabins. Additionally, I never quite realized how much noisier the ocean is, at the back of the ship. LOL . I was anticipating soothing water sounds,  not the relentless volume of a strong running faucet of a bathtub. The views were beautiful,  however. I often book forward to mid forward cabins that meet my expectations much better. You had B318. I would prefer that location! IMO Motion wise was not an issue for me. Noticeable vibration and loud ocean noise are my issue.

We're keeping the kids sheltered from the news as much as possible (they're not-quite-6 and barely-7 and the older one is already prone to anxiety 😞  But we've been listening to music (thankfully our in-house collection is already extensive and diverse), and reading lots (although we're going to run out of books soon... and everything at the library (ebooks online) that they'd be interested in is at least a 3 week wait.  Well... hopefully they'll learn patience and to not be picky from this.  lol

City has declared a State of Emergency.  All non-essential businesses have been ordered closed.  Unfortunately hubby is essential.  I expect the order (rather than request) to stay in our homes will come shortly.

Board games, sing, bake with the chef upstairs?  Enjoy the time together. Your kids will grow up fast, enjoy their age. I taught elementary school for 34 years. Mindfulness is a great trend to help with anxiety. Stay calm and carry on!

March Break officially over, and today starts adventures in Homeschooling.  So far we've watched half a video about penguins, a third of a video about sloths, played educational online games for a half-hour each (mostly math oriented), and now the kids have abandoned ship for the story-time upstairs with Granny (we house-share with my parents... and the only one leaving the house is my husband as much as possible).  Mum isn't a very good cruise director, apparently.  So, off comes the CD hat and on goes head chef... off to take lunch orders.

Good luck! Hope you have some books to read, as well. Use maps, look up the countries that are in the news. Draw, paint, listen to different styles of music, ...have fun!
