  1. @ilovetotravel1977 some people make ridiculous demands, in this case especially u can tell that this was an innocent mistake made by BOTH parties. We joke, because as a society if we take everything serious, we wouldn't be able to coexist. I'd rather laugh, then scream or cry. So quit attacking people for joking around about something simple as a lost item. It is a lost denture, not a lost life. Did anyone die because of this? Sucks to be in this situation especially in the middle of the ocean. I'm former military and losing a denture would be a blessing compared to some of the stuff we lost while deployed, including soldiers in arms. Enjoy life, it's too short!

    Thank you for your service!!

  2. You may not be hogging them but plenty others do. As someone who sails in GS but doesn't book onboard for several reasons - the main one being we book through Club Royale - I'm glad they are doing this. I'm tired of scavenging for GS and sometimes having to book JS and wait for final payment for the GS to get released. Obviously it's an issue and Royal is trying to do something about it.

I couldn't agree more. We personally think it should apply to JS as well. I know many cruisers who book a bunch of $50 cruises to latter give them up.

We see this on Majesty all the time.

  3. Club Royale is NOW basing your limited benefits on your LAST sailing. Only exception COULD be if your last sailing was "light", you COULD have them review your last 6-12 months of action to see if they could adjust your "rating" for a specific dollars off (subject to one per sailing in addition to certificate earned)...

I think this started fleet wide March/April 2016 basing play on last cruise.

  4. Just snagged the RS on Enchantment out of Galveston for Oct 2018.

We managed to get 72% discount on base price

(Casino rate, combined with play based discount, no certificates used)

$77 each per night for 3 in the RS, only a 5 nighter but bargain and no flights.

    Win Win

CR still treating us very well.

    Happy Days!

Also no NEW news on the CR program, but a birdie tells me, maybe it will run parallel with Blue Chip program;)

Sweet. Have never asked about RS as we stay in GS.

    Sounds really good.

  5. Since I've got 22 cruises booked and no room for anymore new bookings, I have not gambled much on the last several cruises since I really have nothing to gain unless I win on that sailing , which happens only about 40% of the time. Once I "need" to book more cruises I'll just go back in and step up my game.

Last week on Adventure I managed to win over $1,100 on the first night and QUIT the rest of the cruise. Didn't care about getting a certificate or not. They ended giving me a $200 Cert anyway! Probl can't use it but at least I took some of their money home for a change lol.

I have used CR to discount already booked cruises as far as 18 months out, as recent as last week. Often we book onboard with Next Cruise and then I call CR who passes on discounts.

  6. Just went through the same drill with my DD, her husband, and my two grandkids today. Tried to add them (4) to our cruise we are already booked on. This was on MJ 3 Night. Not all rooms accommodate 3 or more persons, actually on MJ, not many can handle 3, during booking. We are in a GS, and due to the cruise being only 53 days out, and Interior for 3 and adding one child to our GS, was still more than our GS, My grands are 2 and 6. It was about $400 EA for a family of 4 plus gratuities. There doesn't seem to be any difference in price for a 2 and 6 yo and an adult.

I don't think MJ as many rooms that would even accommodate the 4 of them other than a Suite.

  7. It is for Suites only. They want to stop all the people that book suites to hold them and then either cancel or rebook, taking them away from people that really want the suites and intend to use them. I actually agree with this policy. It will stop people from booking suites to "hold" them and then canceling them before final payment, thus causing someone that wanted the suites to pay a higher price or having moved to another ship/sail date to get what they wanted.

    I agree.
