The point is that policies like this can change sailing to sailing, so what someone says they experienced on their cruise last week can be completely different that what you will experience. In other words, you might not be able to plan this in advance.:eek:

If you are staying in a Grand Suite or above you can make reservations when your concierge gets in touch with you. Our experience is the first night is the hardest to get a good seating. If that is one of the nights you're looking for I would make reservations first thing.

We stay in GS and as stated above, we have contacted the Concierge via email and have had no problems getting our requested times. Although they say the have many times available, in reality, they have an early and late seating. That way they are able to accommodate all their guests. Early times fill up fast. We requested 6:00 dinning and on those nights we were unable to make it for dinner in the CK, the Concierge appreciated us letting him know that we would not be eating in early CK as the had a waitlist.

MJ will go for extended dry dock in January. Chops is scheduled to replace Compass Deli. RCCL expects to get 3 to 5 more years out of her. She may make a few trial runs to Cuba this summer. Info from several officers on her from our just finished B2B.

If you have the drink package, you may get mixed drinks from 11-11pm. There is pretty much a full bar excluding frozen drinks.

All ships are now accounted for through April 2019 so Majesty should be around until at least that time.

Ah... thats too bad... we were hoping she would be replaced with something more updated and with more balconies (suites only with balconies.

I think the VC has a section for non D's and above, The roped off area is supposed to be for D and above but many people that walk into the VC who are not D are not aware of the D event. Yes, a small sign by the roped off area but easy to miss especially if one is hungry.

Windjammer will have milk, lemonade, and iced tea. You may also find iced tea in Cafe Promenade.

I agree, this would stop the practice of chair hogs.

Once a child turns 18, while they are no longer linked with their parents, they do keep whatever level their parents had when the child turned 18. So, for example, they could be Diamond level with 7 points.

Would this mean they are a very long way from D+?

Just wanted to comment -- I agree about the pin, not re: attention grabbing but just the awfulness of it. I hate gold and the pin is so large. If we ever do make it to Pinnacle, I don't think I'd wear the pin. (Though I do like the little ones you get for the other tiers, as they are smaller -- but I still am not really a pin-wearer and have never worn one!)

 

 

 

But also about the CL -- we were in a GS last year at the age of 31, our C&A status was lower (but we'll be D+ in 1.5 years' time) and we just didn't fit in. But we were fortunate to meet a few other people who were very nice and we hung out with them in other areas of the ship -- just not the CL!

 

 

 

You must be cruising a lot to be D+ already :D

Personally, I feel they deserve their status and pin. Never meet a Pinnacle who didn't seem nice.
