Looking for restaurants in the wharf area that are good, won't break the bank and sufficient for a husband who hates fish. Staying at the Courtyard by Marriott so within walking distance.
Thanks

I much prefer the older ships. Club Fusion, Crooners, less people, more pools and no stupid Princess Live...

Thank you for this. I'm sailing on the Grand in January. I had a window suite booked but changed it to a Vista when the price went down. My husband really likes a balcony. I'm hoping we meet someone in a window so we can check it out and maybe he'll decide that sometime he wants to try one. This will also be our first time in a suite, sounds wonderful.

My last cruise and my next cruise, we took upsells to a Mini from a balcony. One we booked months in advance, one after final payment is due. I think it all depends on how well the cruise is selling. When I booked my cruise for June, there were 10 empty Club Class Mini's left and 33 minis. I figured the odds were good that we would get an offer.

Caribbean Princess 6/16 7 day Balcony $259 pp Mini. I took it since we got the original on a Sail and Play for $225 pp. All in all a mini for $484 pp.

i upgraded myself to D737. It's gonna be nice.

You see a lot of penguins. My parents did this on Holland and virtually all their video was penguins.

thank you. I have a window suite booked but the prices of the vista's has come down so I'm thinking of switching. And yes, both of those are still available. Just waiting for my cruise planner to call me back!

Looking at the Deck Plans for the Grand. It appears that the largest balconies for Vista Suites are on the Dolphin deck. Am I seeing that correctly?
Thanks

We were just offered upgrade in star princess Alaska June 9 for 7 days. 169/pp to upgrade from balcony to mini suite. Is it worth it? We are new to cruising. We will be traveling as a family of 4. Two ten year olds and two adults. Thanks!!!!
i would, for 4 people a mini has much more room

That's a terrible offer. I would think nobody would take that!

We are elite on our next cruise. Does the Elite minibar setup include bottled water?
yes

The 10 day partial transit of the Panama Canal on the CB. I would love to do a coast to coast but that will probably have to wait until retirement!
-
thank you. Now I just have to decide between January or March.

I was under the impression that you can't sign up for the Chef's table until you board.

I'm guessing on the formal night so I hope I got it right. The first one will be the first sea day obviously but we have ports every day thereafter until the last day. I guessed that it will be on the day that we leave port earliest. If not, hopefully I can change it when we board.

Thanks. Yes, I'll find something to wear. I'm sure that will be appreciated. No one needs to see my tan lines. :-)

Is one expected to dress for formal night when dining in a specialty restaurant? Never done it on formal night. Thanks

The pool situation on the royal is not good. One decent sized that is not in the sanctuary and it gets too crowded. It'll keep me off that ship unless the price is really right.
-
No bogo's anywhere
-
Really? Did you just tell everyone to shut up? are you that entitled?
pretty sure that's a joke. Chill.
-
Not that I've ever experienced

Welcome. The Royal is beautiful. Could use a couple more pools. Enjoy your cruise.

Is there a question here?
Really? nice welcome to the princess boards.
Restaurants in the Wharf Area
in West Coast Departures

Oh sorry I thought the Wharf would be sufficient. Fisherman's Wharf, therefore San Francisco. I don't do the west coast often, are there other famous wharf's?
