  1. Star class guests can keep their luggage in the cabin til morning(so nice!) when it will be picked up by an attendant. usually it is kept in the hall and then follows you and the genie off the ship and out to customs. I have never used luggage valet, so i don't know how it works.

  2. We used to bring gowns and kilts for the men but...travelling from the UK, the baggage allowance has dropped a lot, and the fees are sky high so now we just use the Windjammer or somewhere else.

But...I must add, what someone wears does not impact the enjoyment of my meal, it will still taste the same and look the same regardless of what people are wearing, for those that enjoy dressing up, that's great, but it's also great for those that don't want to....it's all about harmony and getting along with each other

I agree. We should all get along peacefully and harmoniously while cruising, and carry it over back on land.

Would have loved to have seen the men in their kilts though!

  3. Having to get up and get your own "anything" is still a buffet to me. Although, the food we had (mostly meat on a stick) for dinner at the solarium was quite good. The restaurant was mostly empty and we never felt rushed. I still stand by Giovanni's table. I think the decor, the waitstaff and the food (from apps to dessert) overall were very good. It feels closer (I'm not saying it was)to fine dining. And as much as I love Mexican food, Sabor is just too casual a setting for me, almost like an upscale Chipotle's, Moe's or Tijuana Flats. Royal should put in a To-Go window at Sabor. Serve nachos, taco's and churros to go. I believe it would be very popular!

  4. First you wait for them to open the venue where bingo is being held.

Second, you wait on line for the bingo package you purchase.

Third, you scope out a good seat, close to the "caller" but also so you can see the screen.

Fourth, you wait for the game(s) to start.

And finally!!! they start playing- but before you can blink the games are done!

Seems more like a waiting game than a bingo game!

  5. I really don't understand why the class of ship would make a big difference. I will admit that I have not sailed an Oasis class ship, but we love Freedom class and several others that we enjoy. Why does everyone think Oasis is the be all/end all of cruise ships?

I amend my answer Rick, I include the Freedom Class in my response! It was a wonderful ship!
