  1. It may cost a bit more but highly recommend Mason Jar brunch on Wonder if you haven't tried it.
  2. So yes, you meant for a last minute sailing like I asked. 👍
  3. Huh? You mean a last minute sailing? They offer sailings for far less than RCI all the time. That's the point of group rates.
  4. I'm not on a ship. Just asking b/c I did it in June and someone is this thread did it today on Allure.
  5. You have to transfer money from your account to the machine. It's not hard. A casino crew member can help you. They also have cards explaining how to do it.
  6. I certainly didn't look at every item but that's the only 55% I noticed on my March, June, and July Wonder cruises. Pretty sure I saw several 50% off items though.
  7. Yes. The cabin/person that books it needs to create the login and pw but after that anyone on the ship can use it.
  8. Yes, when you make your reservation (if you do it onboard), you go to Chops or wherever and tell them you want a reservation for 2 using your BOGO. Others have posted having success booking a reservation for one online pre-cruise, then asking for the other person to be added using the BOGO once onboard.
  9. You each get a free bag. You each get one BOGO offer. So you can get 2 meals where you pay for one person. While results vary by ship/date, more and more people are reporting only being able to use them on nights 1 and 2 (as intended).
  10. It all depends on what you're shopping for. We haven't booked an excursion through Royal in forever, don't buy any drink or dining packages, don't buy anything on CocoCay, etc. So I wasn't really looking for much. Happy to save a little on the Mason Jar brunches we had already booked.
  11. I looked at it after you mentioned it. Looks fun. Of course, I wouldn't mind the buffet & open bar part. One of our favorite excursions is Captain Bob's speed boat & snorkel trip on St. Martin. Fast boat (I think his boats are custom and he just adds engines). They fly. But it also involves snorkeling, beach, lunch, drinks onboard, a stop at Maho to see the planes, etc. We're doing it for the 2nd time in March, 7 years after the first time. I have to find stuff like that so that it appeals to both me and my wife. She's big on snorkeling but doesn't really drink. I can snorkel for a little bit then I get bored. So this has a bit of everything. I can go back to the boat for a beer while she snorkels some more.
  12. It ends on 11/24. Of course then they will likely have a Cyber Monday Sale that may or may not be identical.
  13. I believe they do but I've never been there. I suggested the daybed to my wife because the beach area looked pretty congested in some pictures/videos I saw. Then I checked and saw we are pretty lucky and there are only 2 ships in port that day (and the other gets there 3 hours after us). I mentioned that to my wife but it was too late... she had already decided we were getting a daybed, lol. Looking forward to your review!
  14. In general, I try to book direct b/c I'd rather deal with the vendor themselves rather than a 3rd party and some 3rd party sites take a significant % of the amount paid. I was e-mailing with a small independent catamaran/snorkel operator in St. Thomas and he told me TripAdvisor/Viator get 30% if you book through them. He was very nice and honest and said it was the cost of doing business and if I preferred to book through one of those to feel free (the one benefit was the book now, pay later feature whereas he would only take the full amount at the time of booking). I told him I was not giving TripAdvisor 30% of his money out of principal (and I truly do prefer dealing direct).
  15. It varies wildly by ship/date. I think it was like $149 for my March, June, and July Wonder cruises.
  16. As mentioned, we don't buy very much, but I hope you're right both for yourself and others and just so I have something to be checking, lol.
  17. I do have some British friends but I won't pretend to be extremely well-versed in UK parenting. That said, bribery works well for parents in the US. 😁
  18. Plenty of photographers on all my post-covid cruises. I only know b/c we only "purchase" our 2 free photo prints for being Diamond... it's $24.99 per photo (or at least it was on Allure a couple weeks ago).
  19. We don’t buy much pre-cruise. I saved some money on Mason Jar brunches. That was pretty much it.
  20. You can do a mock booking without payment. After you pick your date & put it info there is an “add-on” screen with the daybed map. I don’t know what the old website version looked like but when I was discussing this elsewhere, the people I mentioned who booked daybeds a while ago went back to use the map & see views. I thought it was a nice feature.
  21. Cool. If I remember, I'll try to report back here what that large group with #14-17 says after their late December trip. I wasn't too concerned about which daybed we picked. As long as they keep bringing me food and drinks, I'm good. 😁
  22. Maybe you're exaggerating to make a point but more likely the majority of things will be far less than 55% off just like other sales that say "up to 35% off" or whatever but many are only 10-20% off. They don't need to be THAT deceptive... although they could be.
