Is there any more news on wine packages that have been available lately in Europe ? Or current price for bottle red wine.We dont drink enough for a drinks package.

Is this a ship's excursion? Is your cruise spending the night in Stavanger? You need a minimum of 7 hours to get from Stavanger to Preikestolen. I can't recall the ship being in port long enough to do the hike. We researched it and decided against it due to the very real concern that we would miss the ship's departure.

 

Edited to add: Just looked at Serenade's itinerary and I can see that you're in Stavanger from 09:00 to 19:00. You might just make it.

We hope so thats why we want to get off ship as early as possible and not be looking around shops buying food before we leave.:)

So i take it we should be ok taking onboard from home cheese , biscuits ,crisps and kit kat if all in sealed packaging:).

Hi we will be docked in Stavenger(Norway) and going to Pulpit , i can't see that there is anywhere on the trek up to buy food or drinks , so would it be ok if we board with some snacks from home to take on that day , or could we take anything from breakfast( what would be earliest we could get breakfast served in cabin , or what time does breakfast areas open?) and fill a bottle or 2 of water , we want to get the earliest start possible to avoid crowds.

How much is it?i have european sim so no problem in port ,also i have now read that in the fjords sometimes the ship internet is not very good . :confused:

I booked online on Spanish website and a week later in went down 200 euros i called in and got the price drop and she said i could again if it went down !! This was in the last 10 days.:)

For my cruise next year (may)currently there is a 20 % off so daily price seems ok ,our cruise is 7 nights i wonder do we have to buy for all the days ?and if so what about our last day as we will be in port the time we are on ship so wont need it !!!

We are booked on RC Serenade of the Seas 6/20/19 Baltic cruise. Already booked our airfare too.. Trying to decide between Alla Tours and TJ Travel and will most likely book them for the St. Petersburg/Moscow 3 day tour, along with the Berlin tour and maybe Stockholm and Helsinki too. Anyone else on that sailing that might be interested in the Moscow trip? I'm not sure, but I don't think the tour guide accompanies you on the train ride... which makes me a little bit nervous considering we won't have official visas since we are on a tour... It would make me feel better if I knew there would be some more tourists on the train with us!

Have just watched a 7 minute video on youtube of royal caribean food in mdr , its from feb 2017 is food being served now similar ?

If we have dinner in the mdr and one of our group didnt like the food and is still hungry can we go into the buffet afterwards ?

And i read continental breakfast is complimentary served in cabin ,what exactly is served and do we order it for a time the day before ,and again if one of us wants to also have breakfast in the buffet is this ok?

:Di called today , firstly they said the current Price they had coming up was higher than my reservation, Price that maybe i was seeing a Price without taxes , so i then asked if i could cancel my current booking and do a new one at the Price i had seen and they said yes , she told me to get a new online quote and phone them back.

So i got the new quote (different cabin but same category) and phoned back and they changed Price on my original booking , i think the cabin i had booked first was better.

Quite happy because now what i have saved nearly covers the tips !!!:D

For your backup plan where is your next port stop , if by any chance its Palma there are lots of flights from BCN to Palma so you could catch up to ship the next day , i live in Spain let me know if you need any help .

We are also flying in to Copenhagen for our cruise departure , even though we could get a morning flight the same day we found it safer to fly in the morning before , have booked a budget hotel as basicly will just be sleeping there for the one night and be very little time in the room .Some of the budget airlines in Europe have a tendency to just cancel flights and put you on the next available .

Another question ,is it ok to take drinks from one place to another ,for example could we take a drink from the buffet into mdr .We also plan not to get a drinks package and make do with the complimentary drinks and a bottle of wine at night.

I had read here on CC that it could be sept or oct for another strike. We are staying at the hotel Barcelona Colonial...not sure where that is located. Just know suppose to be with in walking distance to shops and restaurants. Thanks for your reply I have contacted Bohigas and they are very reasonably priced

Hotel Colonial seems a good choice and you are much better of with the private transfer or taxi to get there ,how long are you in Barcelona the Monjuic fountain show is lovely to see but its not on every night its near Plaza España ,if you do go there you could also go to Barcelona Arena if you go in the lift to the top there are lots of restaurants.

I'm in Spain ,Only seems to be one number here and closed weekends , when i booked offer was 25 % off and 3rd passenger 50% now offer seems to be 30%off and 3rd passenger 50%.its not alot but with the 200 would cover probably some of our onboard spending .

On conditions it states full refund till 50 days before so surely they would apply new price ,if not i could cancel and book again ,though not sure if worth the hassle ,i have called but they are closed over the weekend ,so will try on monday .

I live in Spain and not heard anymore about strikes in near future , i often travel to BCN and have used the cheaper bus to plaza españa under 2 euros ,or as others have said Aerobus depends on where your hotel is ,and take note if there is a strike you could have also trouble using a shuttle ,pm me if you want me to keep you informed if i hear anything about future strikes.

Hi i booked direct with RCI last week and have paid my deposit, the cruise before for the 3 of us was 3860 euros then went down to 3560 so i booked thinking i was getting a good deal and now its 3360 euros but only seem to be cabins on deck 9 we are booked on deck 8.

I read somewhere about calling in and they reduce the price ,is it worth a try the cruise is in may,and i'm booking in europe. :)

I am in Spain and booked direct on the RCI website , as they also have a letter missing on my name i think i will wait a month and give them a call to sort that out and ask if we now have the dining time ,also there are 3 of us and would prefer to be on a table alone can we request this?

Hi i asked for the 8,30 dinner time when booking and she said was not available and on my booking document they sent me its marked on there waiting list for 8,30 , should i beable to see this anywhere on the web to see if the status changes? or would i have to phone and ask? I get my reservation number come up option to buy internet or drinks package but little more info. Cruise is in may .Booked direct.

Do they leave the bottle of wine in all balcony rooms , and i understand we can board with 2 bottles of wine ?;)
