We are leaving for Gatwick on Monday (Silhouette cruise, Southampton to Miami) and I just can't get to the packing.  Do you hate packing as much as I do?

It's USD on Celebrity.  We pay with US Amex.

We are on a Celebrity TA in 12 days with vaccinations mandatory as well as a negative proctored test 1-2 days before boarding.  Transatlantics are treated differently.

We never received confirmation by email.  OBC just turned up on my account.

in Concierge class you are invited to eat in the dining room on embarkation day.  I believe you get a bottle of sparkling wine in your cabin and you also get crudites each day.  Hope you enjoy Celebrity.

Hope your wife's ankle is mending and that she is not damaging it further by walking on it.  I feel very sorry for you having this to deal with when you should be enjoying beautiful Hawaii.

So glad to hear this.  We booked with these people in July and a week before we sailed, Azamara dropped the requirement.  We are now set to use them again.  You can't beat $25 CDN for 2.  i was just a little worried about how long it took to get the confirmation.

If you walk off the ship as early as you can, as others have said, and you have Global Entry or Nexus, I think you could make it.  I take it a later flight is more expensive?  International flights usually require 3 hours ahead for security etc, another gift of COVID.

Usually on our balcony.  When we sail out of Vancouver, we prefer the port side as that is where the best views are in our opinion.

I can never believe how inconsiderate people can be, especially at night when they return to their cabin very late.  We have put a note on the door hoping they respond.  However, the last cruise we were on, it was crew that were guilty.  Their door was across the hall from ours.  At midnight one night there was a mighty slam that woke us up.  I phoned down to Guest Relations and told them the crew should be more considerate.  They said they would look after it.  Well, it happened again 2 hours later.  I guess they had returned from security duty.  We phoned again and I think we woke up the GR person!  Anyway, next day they had a repair man up to adjust the latch and he fixed the problem. 

I was taught not to slam doors when I was five.

I would not be too timid to poke my head around the divider and ask politely that they cover their mouth.  I'm surprised no one in Mosiac said anything.  This is especially bad around food.

It is not Azamara's fault but they are responsible for the enjoyment of their passengers.  As someone already said, you paid for your balcony and you should be able to enjoy it as much as you want.  I would go to guest relations and tell them what you have told us.

Love your breakfast.  That crispy bacon etc.  Were those two big scoops on your toast butter?

We like TA's also and have one coming up with 7 days at sea in a row (10 in total) because Bermuda was cancelled.

Chemmo did you sail Hawaii to Sydney in 2007 when Celebrity Mercury sailed there for the first time.  That was a favorite of ours too.

I have a cough right now but have tested negative twice.  However, if I were on a cruise sitting on a balcony, I would cover my mouth while coughing.  It's just good manners and caring about other people nearby.  You have a right to enjoy your balcony also.

I got in today as well and I booked another tour.

Oops don't say that.  You'll get put on the bad person list.  I have been having trouble for some time.  When I click on sign in, the pages I want start flashing by with no way to access them and then they stop on an ad page!  Celebrity do you think I want to book another cruise with you when I can't access anything?  I wrote them and told them their website was a disgrace.  So I didn't get the last PUP email!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who is having trouble.

dlh, thank you for the link.  This is good news for us.  We paid for a proctored test for a July cruise and about a week before departure, it was announced that no testing was required.  We didn't get a refund though, so I was waiting to see what the protocol would be for our Oct cruise.  Glad we can do it ourselves.

Same here.  We were in Norway July/Aug and we had no NOK.  Credit cards worked fine.

They must have corrected it.  When I submitted my post it was #1, as was the post before it.  They should have been #16 and 17 as they are now.  This is not the first time this has happened to me.  glad it's fixed.

Email works best for us.  I really wanted the web site to work but I gave up.  have never gotten the OBC in 2 days.  It's usually much longer than that.
