  1. I fail to see how rough sea is a reason to complain. You decide to cruise in hurricane season, and this is the risk that you would take. I just fail to see how you believe that you would know better than a professional captain. The captain could have done an excellent job to prevent you from any kind of injury while you were whining about the rough sea.

I also hate that when people try to threaten to get what they want.

  2. Why not just call NCL and ask? Only they can make that call. Only problem you might have is the sail away rate. You agreed to take whatever they assign you, and now you are trying to pick a cabin.

    One word of caution...

I just checked into upgrading from a category BC balcony to a SF suite on my December 11th 11 night cruise on Gem. The suite was 5,400 if purchased that day, but NCL gave me a new total price of 6,880. Having already paid about 3,700, I was good with paying the difference on the 5,400, but not the 6,880.

There may have been cancellation penalties involved, or perhaps it is changing categories, but I didn't bother to inquire why it was so much more. Just knew I didn't want to pay another 3,100.

You mean 12/12. Don't scare me cause I have final exam on 12/11 and I am also on that cruise.

Why don't you try to utilize the bidding system? You may save more with it.
