  1. I was able to do it too. AT first after I saw your message I tried and got the first date and time in the cart and went to book another day and it would not work again. Kept trying and was able to do it. Thanks fpr the reply!
  2. Hopefully they will fix it before on the ship. If not might try waiting in the area. Thanks
  3. They weren't able to on my last cruise in February, tried as soon as onboard and all times were taken except for 9 PM or later!
  4. I was able to book La Cusino. I got two specialty dining free with the booking and get 2 being Platinum. Was told had to wait until on the ship to book the 2 for being Platinum level.
  5. Every night. Says 'Not available to book' so you can't even select a date.
  6. They tried to book it but had the same problem as I did. Said to keep trying or wait until on the ship. Chat and Phone call was told the same.
  7. I have not been able to make dining reservations at Cagney's for New Orleans Breakaway January 21, 2024 sailing. It keeps saying 'Not available to book'. We are at 118 days until sail date. Platinum level. I was able to make reservations at La Cucina. I have chatted and talked to NCL reps but no one has an answer other than wait until on the ship. Which is what I have to do for the 2 specialty dining for being Platinum level. The last cruise couldn't book Cagney's until after 9PM! Has anyone had this issue before?
  8. Thanks Steelers36, I did a chat session with Princess and she said to use OTHER and put RUE Dalhousie, Quebec G1K 4B2 as the address. which is the cruise terminal address.
  9. Went to finish filling out Arrivecan for our 8/31/22 10 day New York to Quebec City Princess cruise. Finished Trip details section but when I got to Public Health requirements I am confused. It asks" What is the full address of the location in Canada where you will be staying?" It has Returning home, Staying with friends, Hotel, or Other as options to select. then it asks for address info. I don't know what to put. The cruise gets to Quebec City 8-30-22 a day ahead of Disembarkation on 8-31-22 transfering to airport to fly back to home in the USA. Do I put the cruise terminal address?
  10. I did not sign myself up for it. NCL originally had flight to Montreal, Houston then New Orleans. Missed the Houston flight. AIr Canada booked the flights to Denver and then to New Orleans
  11. Was on the NCL Gem Greek Island cruise out of Trieste, Italy June 19 - 26. We had Air Canada flight AC819 on the 26th, Venice to Montreal, Canada. Flight was delayed leaving Venice and sat on the tarmac in Montreal waiting on ground crew so we missed our connecting flight out of Montreal. Air Canada rebooked us on flights for the 27th and had to get a hotel. Air Canada flight the next day, AC1073 to Denver was late getting in so we missed our United flight to New Orleans and had to get another hotel in Denver. Insurance is thru NCL AON. Talked to AON agent today and was told I need to supply flight delay info from Air Canada. I have all receipts for my extra expenses. Can someone tell me how to get the flight delay info required for the insurance claim?
  12. I said it was 36 hours to get back home! Guess I was still having jet lag! It was 60 hours! 2 AM New Orleans time on Sunday til 2PM on Tuesday.
  13. Just got back from Greek Island cruise. Cruise was great but getting there and back from New Orleans was not great! Air was booked through NCL, $1249 which seemed like a good deal for 2 round trip New Orleans to Venice, Italy. Was originally booked on United - New Orleans to Washington DC, then Brussels airline to Brussels Belgium (8 hour flight) and Brussels airline to Venice. Seats were assigned. Wanted to upgrade seats on the 8 hour flight but could not do it online. Called Brussels airline and given a price of $50 each to upgrade to preferred seats for the 8 hour flight and $20 each for the second flight to Venice. Total of $140 which I paid. A few days later got an email from Brussels air saying that they changed our seats a few rows back on the 8 hour flight. After looking online the new seats were included in the original fare. Now the Price for the preferred seats on the second flight showed a total charge of $140 instead of $40! Called Brussels airline 3 times and was finally told I had to submit a claim for reimbursement via email. which I did. No reply for several days, so I called back thinking I had the wrong email address. This agent said I would get a refund of $100 in 4-6 weeks. Brussels flights got cancelled and was booked on British Airways, New Orleans to London then to Venice, only 2 flights which I did not mind even if I lost the $40. On June 24, got email from Brussels "As we have checked that this booking was made through a travel agency, we request you to contact them directly for refunds." NCL did book the flights but not the upgraded seats. Be aware, I don't think that payments for upgraded seats are refundable, which I have had happen before with a cancelled American Airlines flight. That is not totally the case here as they cancelled my seats not me before they cancelled the flight. Sorry for the long post! The return flights via Air Canada was even worse. 36 hours from Venice to New Orleans! Missed flights in Montreal so had hotel stay then missed flight in Denver causing another hotel stay! Not sure of how to submit claim. I think I have to submit claim to the airline, then Insurance for what they don't cover. About $800 extra charges for taxi's and hotels charges!
  14. I meant "How they came up with that figure and why it was put on a FCC and NOT my form of payment I do not know."
  15. Booked Granddaughter and a companion for NCL January 2022 cruise. Companion was a 'No Show'. Port fees were $163.70 per person. She was given a $95.16 FCC. How they came up with that figure and why it was put on a FCC and my form of payment I do not know. A case was submitted to have it refunded instead of FCC and was denied.
  16. Thanks mking8288. I am not as concerned now as we are not required to have covid test to get back to US. I have Verizon so have activated Travel Pass, which is $10 per day if you use it.
  17. Are you flying into Venice or Trieste? We have had a bad experience on a 2 week NCL cruise out of New York back to New Orleans in November 2021, repositioning. We were booked on flights thru NCL day of cruise on Sunday. Notified via AA airline on Saturday afternoon that flight from New Orleans to Charlotte was cancelled. Called NCL, was told to call airline. Airline was not able to help told to call NCL. On Hold with NCL for several minutes with agent trying to get thru to their air dept. finally came back to me and told me if we wanted to go on the cruise I had better book my own arrangements! It cost me around $1000 to book own flight, hotel and ubers to fly out that night. NCL would not help at all for extra costs! I did not have insurance. Have not had any luck with other issues with NCL help! You can not talk to a live person about issues, only thru cases sent via internet. I could write a book. We have several cruise nexts to use or would probably book other cruise lines! We are platinum level too. Hoping you will have no troubles.
  18. Sorry I see what you're saying now!!! I was just so excited about them dropping the requirement!!!
  19. Sorry Fouremco, didn't mean to upset you!. The title of the post was When Will the CDC Drop Testing Requirement for Cruises?
  20. As of 12:01AM ET on June 12, 2022, CDC will no longer require air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight. For more information, see Rescission: Requirement for Negative Pre-Departure COVID-19 Test Result or Documentation of Recovery from COVID-19 for all Airline or Other Aircraft Passengers Arriving into the United States from Any Foreign Country.
  21. The following is from the CDC website. Thanks again MikeMSD! 22. Thanks MikeMSD!!! I had not seen that update. Hoping for a great cruise. I was more concerned about the test coming back to the USA. I have ordered a proctored test from AZ0VA before we leave home on the 16th. They allow you to use your own at home test. They charge $20. Was going to see how that went then decide if we would try to use them for disembarkation at the port. Was hoping that USA would drop that requirement, so glad they have. We have terrible flights to Venice and back. Staying one night ahead of cruise in Venice. None coming back. 3 flights each way booked thru NCL. Transfers via NCL too.
  23. Does anyone know how the internet service is in port at Trieste on the Gem? Booked on the June 19th sailing. Thinking about proctored covid test while in port of disembarkation day,
