  1. I just checked to see if may have just been you. I checked on my phone and on laptop. Gave the same error.
  2. Sorry that happened. I have been hearing more and more about the issues with MTD. We were on the Allure in 2019 and MTD was flawless. As well as on some other lines were never an issue. The problem for us is that 5:30 is too early to eat and 8pm is too late. So MTD works for us.
  3. We have cruised smaller ships on other lines like Norwegian. So smaller ships don't really bother us. We haven't cruised since February of 2020 and don't think we want to wait over a year for our sailing on the Wonder. Plus, we live in suburban Boston so this ship is in our backyard.
  4. Hi-We really LOVE Oasis class ships but we want to do the Voyager Canada and New England this coming Sept. We are pretty easy going cruisers so I know that Oasis and Voyager can't be compared, but just wondering if anyone has sailed on both classes of those ships and were happy with Voyager.
  5. Why not order some of the proctored ones from EMED? Tests can be done in the hotel room.
  6. I am a bit confused about the bedding in some of the Haven Suites on the Getaway. Mother and two teenaged boys. The bedding says one king and one pull out single. Any recommendations for (not the two bedroom) where there is bedd for three? The cabin descriptions are confusing. Thank you
  7. Love this review. Thanks so much for taking the time. I feel like I was vicariously living the experience. Can't wait to get back to cruising.
  8. We are pretty avid cruisers and of all the cruises we have been on I can remember about 3-4 CD's names. Other cruises I don't recall EVER seeing the CD or hearing any announcements from them. Does the CD make an impact on your cruise experience? It certainly doesn't for us.
  9. Favorites: bread (love bread), breakfast sausage Least favorite: desserts..the selections stink..and how many people really like stuff with Jello?
  10. I have been on Royal and Norwegain and have never had that SMELL!
  11. Carnival is the only one I have experienced that smell on. It is terrible.
  12. Hi All- We were on the Liberty in 2018 and considering sailing on her again in 2023. I remember the SMELL (you know the one) but can't remember which decks it was most prominent. Want to avoid booking my cabin on that deck. Thank you and happy cruising.
  13. Hi-Husband and I do not mind sitting with other table mates during dinner. We have had a couple of bad experiences but for the most part really enjoyed meeting new people. So we are generally open to sitting with others if asked. With Covid, is that something that is still going on? Just curious.
  14. We did the three night dining package on Allure and we really enjoyed it. Plus, we always do Chef's Table as well. We don't mind the MDR but we like to mix it up a bit. It was less purchasing ahead of time.
  15. @MightyMike We were pretty close to the end on deck 10 cabin 10319 if I remember correctly. We had a great view of the AQ theatre and the screen. I know the Wonder deck plans may be slightly different. My concern is that the slide may be blocking the view on the Wonder. It is hard to tell by the deck plans if that is the case. Also, if the CP balconies would be too hot.
  16. Hi fellow Cruisers- We sailed on the Allure in 2019 in a boardwalk balcony we really loved it. We were able to watch the aqua theatre shows right from our balcony and loved also being able to see the water and the action on BW. We are sailing on the Wonder October 2023 (yes, I know, over a year away) and booked in another BW balcony on same deck just a few doors down from where we were before. We like having out in Central Park area on the Allure, but the CP balcony rooms from what I could see, seemed like it would be quieter and hotter as it doesn't have that cut out on the water like the BW's do. Has anyone sailed in both a CP and a BW and preferred one over the other? Thank you
  17. We were on Allure in October of 2019 and found the food in the MDR to be MEH! Of course the specialty dining venues were better but not THAT much better. We are sailing on the Wonder in 2023 and hoping for the best. But we are not particular about our food so we were okay.
  18. I wouldn't do it. Too many variables. We were on a cruise a few years ago and the Coast Guard did a surprise inspection and the ship was held up about 2.5 hours. Causing many, many passengers to miss flights. Luckily for us we had a post cruise hotel reservation.
  19. Hi All- We are not cruising again until 2023 (boohoo) but I have some dietary restrictions where I can only eat a couple of ounces of food in one sitting. I know at the Windjammer, I will be able to better control the amount of food. But my concern is the main dining room and the specialty dining. We love eating in those places and I am wondering if I would be able to order off the children's menu or get a half portion of something. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you and happy cruising.
